It says the club is doing scans to find out exactly how bad it is so it confirms that yes it happens but the details are just speculation, the 4-6 weeks is a guess, at least that's how i am taking it at the minute, i'm sure they're making a fairly educated guess.

The thing is he is going to get paid well wherever he goes, the only team likely to pay him way overs is GWS, and being a restricted free agent it's highly unlikely anyone will offer him so much that we couldn't match it anyway.

The difference between Frawley and Rewoldt is roo has played finals, grand finals and so on, Frawley hasn't at all, Nathan Jones is loyal as a dog, Chip is weighing Loyalty vs money vs success and he is absolutely right to do so.

Evans has the talent to be as good as any of our current mids imo, he is the safest on that list on that alone

I can tell you with absolute certainty James Frawley has not made a decision on his future at this point in time, that's coming from a very reliable source, anything in the media saying he is gone is purely speculation, i believe he will stay, but if we have a [censored] year, he is going to consider his options very seriously

What's Clark's status i know that's almost impossible for anyone to know, but what are the chances they aren't lying and he is going to be right by round 3-4 as well as hogan?

exactly right, we simply can't expect Hogan to win games for us yet, we have to be realistic

Still nearly 2 weeks before round 1, so lets say he has 4 off and then plays one at casey to be safe, that's round 3 against GWS, round 4 absolute worst case scenario, i think it will be the 6 because we won't take the risk of a potential long term issue.

Fitzy, Pederson, howe, Kennedy- Harris and maybe Dawes if you believe the club, Dunn could swin forward too, we have enough to kick a winning score, we can't fall into the trap of relying on Hogan to kick bags already and we certainly can't rely on Clark, when he plays he plays.

Hogan should be back by round 3-4 it's not the end of the world, Dawes rounds 1 or 2 and i wouldn't want to even guess with Clark, it's not the end of the world, top quality teams win even when they have injuries, it's just another test, can't afford to look at it any other way If Chip goes we get a top 5 pick most likely as compo, plenty of really good key position prospects in the draft, i'd love chip to stay, i think he will stay but if he doesn't i will completely understand the decision

It's really strange, at the end of last year i had him in the best 22, not sure what the go is, doesn't even seem to be on the radar at the moment.

If the 2 year minimum that Clarkson is suggesting comes in, Roos would need to stay for 3, but it just doesn't seem right to me, in 3 years we could be pushing finals, surely Roos would wanna see if we can go all the way, why start a journey and jump ship half way through, especially considering the money he is on.

I reckon PJ was in the same boat, wanted him long term, but thought if i can get him for 2 years he might get a taste for it again

I don't see Roos as someone who will leave a job half done, i reckon he will want to be around the group in some capacity until we have our chance to win a flag

The thing for me is Roosy and Stone knew either way they'd be getting a really young mid, they obviously rated Tyson and Salem well above any of the mids in the draft

we play the Suns, Giants, and Saints in the first 5 rounds, i reckon we should feel we can beat all three, we also play Carlton and the Eagles, i reckon we can beat Carlton if we play well but 5 rounds in and 3 wins and two super competitive losses and i will be thrilled.

What i didn't appreciate is how hard he works already, between him, Chunk and Cross there is abit of honest hard work in the midfield which i really like, Hard working mids stand up in finals.
