  1. Haha i'll be sure to mention that monday if i see him
  2. Maybe Sydney should call Roosy and ask how we manage to beat Richmond every time we play them! i don't think we've lost to them since Roosy has been on board?
  3. How are Richmond going to finish 9th at this rate?
  4. certainly a draft that doesn't have the obvious talent of some in recent years, but that doesn't mean someone can't pluck a gem out of it
  5. Tippett is about the most overrated footballer going around. I really don't see Richmond being good enough to do anything but make up the numbers under hardwick
  6. as good as Angus is, Jesse is in a whole different league, he is someone we can build our team around, Angus i think will be a genuine A grader but a key power forward with Jesse's potential doesn't come along all that often
  7. I am a really big fan of the way it's happened to be honest, if you look at the bulldogs, Macca taught them honest one on one contested football, built and developed what looks like a seriously good list and then Bevo takes over and adds some attacking flair to it and suddenly they're flying. I really expect by the end of Roos time we will be pushing for the 8, have a list that looks seriously dangerous and Goody will add that attacking flair to the ingrained defensive habits Roos taught them, i do think for the reason you mentioned that Roosy will want to hang around in some capacity
  8. Seriously what is up with this dude? if he had evidence that could clear himself why not end this saga 2 years ago?
  9. It's all over social media, bunch of reporters saying he knocked back 6 year deals from the tigers and Norf and a 7 year deal from us.
  10. I would argue the players are far more responsible for this than Roosy, there is a clock at the bench, the players coming on and off didn't communicate the time, and even if they didn't surely someone would have overheard a saints runner at some stage. and Oxley, the players were bombing it long and high and the forwards weren't making a contest, so the mids didn't lower their eyes, and the forwards didn't split the high balls to 50/50's which they could easily have done. these things are more of a reflection of our inexperience, i mean even Jones and Dunn are only recently leaders really, everyone needs to have things like this happen to learn, but all in all Roos is improving the players and building a nice little core group of players. I think Lloyd being a former player should have realised that, Roos can't call a time out or do anything more than what he did in the saints game, and the pies game, he can't contest the high balls the forwards didn't get too
  11. Apparently we offered Dan Hannebry a 7 year deal at over a mil so i suppose we are keen on landing a big name player.
  12. Roos job was always to come in and lay a foundation so another coach would take over a group that was over the past and ready to become a serious AFL team, we hired him to take the hits that a coach without his reputation couldn't withstand, and he is clearly the best person to help us build a core that could one day result in a premiership.
  13. Petracca, Brayshaw, Hogan, Mcdonald, Tyson, Salem, Toumpas, Viney, Kennedy-harris, NIbbler, Stretch, Vandenberg, i'm fairly confident this group can take the club somewhere
  14. I would think this would make a circumstancial case from WADA significantly stronger, accusing a guy who has been banned for life for moving PED's of providing an AFL club who can't detail what was given in an injection program because they have no records the very same drugs.
  15. I reckon a good replacement for cross, similar type of player
  16. I reckon stuie is right and all three are gone
  17. We need to use our cap wisely to retain the young talent on the list, dangerfield is individually brilliant but not a brilliant team player. Next mfc who gets 1 mil a year plus should be jesse hogan
  18. We don't want him.
  19. In terms of midfield depth i think trenners makes a very handy rotation if he can get back, extremely strong 5th or 6th mid
  20. I reckon we are a sneaky chance to knock off west coast
  21. Robbo talks to bucks and roosy like hes a fellow coach and knows what its like, i almost guarentee thsy just take the pizz out of him back stage
  22. The other thing I've heard and i reckon saty could confirm this is crossy absolutely loves teaching our young blokes. Brayshaw and co are in good hands
  23. Any way to watch the replay other than the afl.com smart replay?
  24. I don't think we will be all that active in terms of trading this year
  25. I'm not one of those people who believe that our injuries really dictate what this team can achieve,i think good teams find a way to cover injuries, i've been impressed with our body of work over the past say 6 weeks, beating the dogs, could have beaten port, could have beaten the filth, SHOULD have beaten the saints, and beating the cats at Geelong, would have loved to win those games, but i personally have seen some genuine improvement in that period, and for a good part of it Tom Mcdonald who i consider to be when in form is our best player, totally out of form. I think we are in a position to really show the footy world we aren't that desperate shell of a team anymore, our best can match and beat top 8 sides, and by next year i think we'll have cut out most of the lapses, and get some good young players like Petracca and Trengove and probably some young talent into the mix and away we go couple of surprise recruits might well give us a boost as well!
