I think as the coach you have to send the captain out to the umpires at 3/4 time and tell them the free kick differential. If nothing else then you plant the seed, and make them accountable in the last quarter.

Throw your hands up, get a free kick. This is embarrassing for the AFL.

The umpire failed to quickly call a ball up then, causing a player to be continually spun around in a tackle until his momentum created a slinging tackle. That’s really poor.

I feel strongly that there was a more eloquent way for this to be phrased.

Dogs look very ordinary. A lot of their players look to have stalled. Smith doing nothing. Meanwhile Port are having that season where their second tier talent are playing well above their expectations. Be interesting to see if they can keep it up for a year. There’s 4 umpires - but none of them are instructed to stand on the boundary side. It means they ALL don’t see the same missed free kicks every week. What makes it worse is that those are free kicks that are seem by literally everyone else at the ground.
