Life's cruel and we're reminded most days that nothing's permanent. I had no idea about Neil. Along with Bailey one of the better Melbourne Coaches, entertaining and an absolute character. IMV our best Coach since 66. can't remember anything before that. sitting here watching MFC get flogged in the second quarter quickly puts everything into perspective. Never know what's around the corner so don't hold back!!

Jones is coming! Watts is a potential superstar. His evasiveness on Saturday took me back to Robbie Flower. Watts seems to do it without exerting effort. All he needs is more confidence to go all the way and start dobbing a few and he'll get SILK! Hogan will be! Wait and see. It's about patience boys!!

Prerequisite must be to be able to drop kick 45 metres. If this is achievable on a consistent basis at training then all else is possible! For example, running into an open goal and dobbing it from 5 metres out. PEDO!!

Greetings from Yackandandah Folk Festival! Anyone in the area drop in to and say hello to Thaipantsman in front of the post office. Absence of Big Men C D J and H really hurt us. Was generally encouraged. Commitment was up 75 % on last year. Watts and Jones were outstanding. Some straighter kicking early could have been good night Saints. Big NR was too good for us and in the end was the difference. Encouraged by Spencer in the Ruck. Didn't see the final stats though he seemed to give us every chance around the stoppages. Pederson is a worry but no other options ATM. It will come if we get Hogan going. Go Dees!

Yesterday the 11th of March. Heart flutters all-round . Extreme sadness in Dean's Passing. An excellent coach and coaching under an extreme set of guidelines for much of his tenure. The MCG Freo game with Jurrah Flying everywhere and marking everything was one of the highlights for me under the Bailey Tenure. That one game alone was worth a years membership! Dean's honesty, straight forward, positive no nonsense approach to Coaching and life makes him irreplaceable . A sad sad day. A delightful man and deserved better from Melbourne FC.

What do you guys not get about "untried coaches"...give it a rest or it;; be Neeld Mk 2. Hayes for Captain though..now that's a call...two year contract

Watts is an absolute Gun. He'll be the fastest most versatile big man running around in the next two years. We've done the tough yards with him. Blooding him V Bombers and even then you could see he had it even though was a skinny kid from Brighton Grammar. Foolish to even be talking about it but had to vent this and stand up to all you ANTI Watts Demonlanders. If Melbourne can't hang on to Watts then don't expect us to attract any more stars to the club. All must see Watts sign. This would be a massive symbolic gesture alone not to mention the Guys gonna be a star. If we lose him then it's more of the same Gillies, Sellar, Dawes, Pederson, Rodan and Byrnes types of Guys coming to Melbourne next year. Will be another sad year for Melbourne. COACH... 1. EADE 2.
