Barely?? Just a little faith then Forest Demon?? Just enough to stick with Neeldy. ForestD ..I was getting very ANTI Neeld. Really couldn't see the game plan going anywhere and still don't think the players are totally backing him. Something about him that worries me. Lots of talk and spin and not a hell of lot of action. For example not one single omission after the Lions match. Continually leaving Rivers at FF, Watts on Brown, starting Spencer at FP OR FF instead of First Ruck...bla bla....selecting Bennell thinking he will the next Eddie Betts. He has L plates and a long way to go as a coach. V Bombers demonstrated the passion was there and that was enough for me to support him. If this time next year we are 2 wins then the faith may wither.

If it comes down to choice between Sellar Dwellar or Spence....SPENCER!

skills? No it's passion. If players have the passion and desire the skills and confidence will happen. It's a rabble ATM. Neeld is a learner and we all knew this from the start. Being a learner might be good just have to keep the faith. IMO Bailey was a far superior coach and not afraid to say it aloud but that's not to say Neeld can't get his act together by this time next year.

Spencer's stats weren't at all staggering but unlike last week he did look the part. Veery slow though. If he starts taking a few grabs could be handy. Prefer Gawn.

McKenzie is a hard one to judge. Low skill level, high commitment. He did a great shut down job today. tom McDonald will be our best defender and maybe move forward...Garland...Doesn't go in too hard, has skills..no comment.

So often unable to look for the spare player opting to kick long to boundary contests. Many long kicks went out on the full. Melbourne are a Joke. I hope Neeld can learn and adapt a more cohesive game strategy. Rivers played most of the game forward was a mistake. Spencer should of started in the Ruck instead of the Pocket. Bennell should hardly of been in the starting team. So much more..

Melbourne are worse now t;han the round one team v Brisbane. Also worse than under Bailey last year. No doubt about it. Spin as much as you like . Melbourne has a Learner Coach and Learner Captains. We have to live with it.
