Melbourne are playing an exceptional game of bluff here. We are jostling with the Bulldogs with the idea that they want a key forward (McCartin or wright) at number 2. This won't happen unless the bullies give up something exceptional which we don't think they will. This is the bluff. We will threaten this trade all the way up until Friday to see if Saints pull the trigger on the below deal. Hence why we are making it known we are talking to the bullies. This leaves saints thinking that they may miss out on the tall they want if they do the GWS deal involving jaksch and o rourke due to the bullies potentially getting pick 2. Meaning Saints hold their number 1 pick and take a forward and hence leaving petracca to us. Brilliant strategy dees! Just brilliant!

problem is we will finish above GWS and they will take Petracca

based on the AFL ladder predictor, I have us finishing 4th last. Problm here is that Petracca wont be there, Heeney is through the Academy and Darcy Moore is FS. Meaning its brayshaw and possible the pick after him. Cards dont apear to be falling for us, but you never know.

Guys and Gals, I am still hearing that GC are entertaining MFC with the thought of having Caddy with a Bail and our last round one pick? Is anyone else hearing this? From what I have been told Melbourne are declining the offer as Bail is apparently not a tradeable player. Although some are leaning towards it more and more.... Does anyone know where Bail is from?
