He's fit enough. The concern I have with Christian is that he may be too much of a confidence player. Hope I'm wrong and he burns it up in the second half.

It would be a remarkable achievement to make Col look like a star.

Generally we find a way to lose these. I'm hoping today is a stepping stone but we need blokes to get back and help an accident prone defence and by accident prone I mean Colin Garland (bless him). If we can do that, we'll go a long way to winning the match.

I reckon I just saw a decision from 'look at me' Razor Ray which has impacted this game big time.

Rather than spend time and money on ludicrous pipe dreams (I regard matches played in China and Singapore as not much more than that), the AFL should ensure the introduction of a professional women's league is done in a manner which supports grass root growth. This includes women involved at the higher administrative levels. My eight year old daughter wants to play and three of her teammates currently do. Create an effective pathway and this is where growth in the game will occur imo.

It's ok to realise that you're giving too much latitude to a player but to let them get away with it for the whole game is very disappointing.

That's true. Just not in the AFL.

Not irrelevant at all. Ugliness needs to be rooted out, not just in football but society as a whole.
