Interesting read and most of us would agree with old players that max out salary cap arent really going to help us in anyway where we are at. So where are the rumours coming from? Or from newspapers just hungry for a story? Also I have heard we havent made an offer to Wellingham (although 4 years and 500K was mentioned on facebook) but that we will go hard on him. Did you get that indication? Lastly with Viney - what rumours do you mean? Rumours that GC will nominate him or that we will or wont take him at pick 3? Because I know the answer to this one.

Ive heard this rumour - someone claims to have seen him there firstly meeting with us and then having some sort of testing via trade radio and facebook pages (which are often just total bulldust) I dont really have an opinion on this one - he has speed and good disposal so they would be pluses. But he comes across as a little bit of a Jack Watts type to me.

With friends like him who needs enemies. Wont be happy until we fold I feel.

Cant agree with that - he is a worthy pick 13 and unlike a draftee he has proven he has speed, spread and ball smarts. Our luck with drafte choices hasnt been great for mine. He is worth the coin. I heard that Shannon Byrnes is staying as well but someone else posted on a facebook page that he is definately signing with the dees... Also heard rivers has lodged papers with Brisbane... its all happening and none of it good for us thus far...
