WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Interesting that you say that. I was told that the club were surprised by the medical - that the procedure he had in June/July seemed to have left his underdone calves in better shape than they expected. Apparently some scar tissue was removed and a nerve issue was identified that can be treated potentially.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Harley asked to leave his Freo contract early so that he could travel to vic to see a soft tissue specialist here (after a failed treatment regime with a specialist in Germany). The result was an operation in July that removed some scar tissue and repaired a 'nerve issue' that was potentially causing or worsening his calve problems. Hopefully this has addressed his problems

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The conspiracy theory that trade period is largely a manufactured farse is actually doing the rounds at the moment - and not just one poster here's thought bubble I agree that there is growing whispers that the last day is when trades must be announced in line with the Fox telecast.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
I think he was the safer option out of Parish and Oliver. His highlights (and lets remember how good Jimmy T's looked before we get carried away) reminded me a little bit of Petracca's.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
I must admit after talking to a few ranges associated people earlier i really hoped we'd get Wied. The guy has matural courage. I am most excited about this pick up in this draft.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Facebook scenario: Watts to hawks for pick 15 (on the back of an sen caller) - pick 6 and 15 to Sydney for Parker

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Still think that although it can be argued that we've reduced Watts' trade worth by holding on to him too long that his elite disposal would be a real gift for an elite midfield like Fremantle or West Coast. I think Bugg may signal the trade of Grimes and Garland, Howe, Toumpas and Watts may go if a reasonable deal comes up. watts for melksham is too much imo.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Kennedy signed a four year deal with the Swans in 2013 where he stated that he would be forever grateful to the swans for the opportunity they gave him after the trade from the hawks and that he wanted to play for a successful club. Im not thinking he is the big fish personally.
