  1. English to the dees would be a win for mine. Probably more exciting than some of the other prospects. High profile trades like Langdon, et al added real quality to our list. Mor recent trade acquisitions seem to be bargain basement raids.
  2. Sorry but if the answer is Fullarton, Billings and Schache then the wrong question is being asked. Hunter probably in similar category.
  3. I suspect he looked a lot better in a team of jets in career best form.
  4. I dream of us pulling a RIchmond style Caddy and Prestia but I doubt there is the talent available.
  5. Most insane thing Ive heard in a while. JVR has shown he can get there. Max reminds me of Weids.
  6. Does ANB get more time in the middle? Has speed.
  7. In some weird way, somehow MFC are the real villains of an injury one of our players sustained due to someone else's knee. The story isnt the knee being lifted when attempting to spoil for no obvious reason (or maybe...), or that in the last two games against Collingwood one of our players has sustained catastrophic injuries, the story is that somehow MFC are at fault for not overruling a player's urge to go back on the ground. That being said most of these media outrages are just tame distractions from a sychophantic brigade that would be too scared to say anything controversial.
  8. Can I just say that the bloke here who broke the Taylor Adams to Sydney rumour two weeks before the media deserves some credit. Keep them coming! .
  9. Couple of things mentioned on trade radio this am on the commute: Concerns that with the deal to Naughton and then English that they might not be able to keep ammara Ugle-Hagan. Beast Mode Angry Phil Read version 2 - Rhys Matheison may also be looking for new opportunities. I know he can attack people but is he fast? kick?
  10. If we can use JVR et al as backup rucks and we have Schache in reserve as an early signing surely Lobb is totally off the radar? Any interest in Haines at all? GWS are shopping hard.
  11. hopefully nothing to do with us
  12. Can u link me to that post or provide a synopsis of its content? Thank u
  13. I had full faith until I saw Schache listed as the sub...
  14. Channel 7 reporting that the club has admitted we botched his rehab and treatment and that he got his nose out of joint and didn't hide that fact.
  15. My question is how the heck am I supposed to get any work done today now?!?!
  16. What about those that claim to know more than 10% because they send emails to the club and they don't respond?
  17. The game changes with what ever works each year. It's just as possible shut down or tall dominant lists become the fashion. Honestly Essendon under Knights were pretty similar to the pies this year other than the pies being way better at transition. The response will be Sydney esque shut down again for mine.
  18. Twitter and Reddit: The Dee's are into Lynch or Ben M. Demonland: We are into no body and will use the draft. Then Demonland: I have news - our target will be made public shortly. Then Demonland after the Oliver story 'broke': See I told you there would be news (just not the news of the target as claimed). My bold prediction: At some stage in the future there will be news! Told you!
  19. Correction 'Reid has played zero AFL games and may or may not live up to the hype'
  20. Totally agree! I remember reading how talented and impactful players like Toumpas, Tapscott and Lucas Cook would be. Other recruiters rated the first two. But reality turned out different
  21. Most on this page and on trade radio 48 hours ago were telling us that the club would not be big traders and would focus on our youth and perhaps top up with the draft. Well it appears that has certainly changed. Does this mean that if Reid is the absolute target we are moving towards a semi rebuild? Clearly Max and May will be twilighting by the time he is good enough?
  22. Im not sure Id care if Clarry started smoking bongs in his training breaks. Ill say it until the cows come home - ive supported the Dees since the late 70s and Clarry and Trac are the best mids ive ever seen at the club - you just dont even entertain the idea of trading this type of player unless you are looking at an absolute jet for jet. Picks are meaningless - just as many are squandered every year as turn out quality and our past track record (pre the current regime) was diabolically bad.
  23. Honestly if this club is now shopping semi-publically a once-in-a-generation talent because of 'attitude issues' twelve months after signing him for seven years our list management foresight is laughably bad. In recent times we have been good at the draft but the decades before that were at best mixed in terms of drafting and at times appallingly bad. Why gamble what is for what might be?
