No bring Sparrow in and give him a go.
Can always make changes during the game.PLEASE this incessant fantasy with Tmac on the wing is ridiculous.
Its almost getting fans thinking of ways to change the team structure to get him there.
In case any one is under the delusion that we could move a Tmac full time to the wing and succeed they do not understand the logic of team balance or placing players in their best positions.
Yes a player can be moved during a game and Tmac performed that role vs North in Hobart and played on the backline in place of Tommo. Great result and he could be a Harry McKay opponent at some stage on Sunday with Petty being moved to CHF.
Our forward line needs Tmac at his best as he kicks straight is mobile and is a team player above all else. He's playing just fine and when it's Not broke don't try and fix it.
For those in the "Tommy for Wing" club yes he played about 5 mins a game starting there to get him mobile fir his forward starring role in 2018. Far different than wanting him to line up there and run all day. The team needs pace on the wing and I am perfectly happy with Angus performing that role until say Fraser Rosman or one if the other players earns a game in that position.
Leave Tommy be the leader of our forward line and his work ethic and Bulk plus clunk marking are proving priceless to our improvement and form in 2021.
And I'd move Hudson to CHB and Barassi into the back pocket.

You can disagree all you like. If he's had 23 shots from the goal square and only got 18g 5b then he's not very accurate is he?
Its meaningless unless you combine it from where they are kicked from.
Same as free kicks . . . doesn't matter how many you get, it's where you get 'em that counts.

The older types on here will remember when a bloke by the name of Andrew Obst came over to join the Dees.
Can't recall exactly who said it, but clearly remember one of the team staff claiming that he would be a "mild sensation".
This young fella has a bit of Andrew Obst about him. Not necessarily his game style, but his worth to the team.
He and me mates still call Hunt "the new Oba". Highest compliment we've got for number 29.

It's a combination of factors IMHO. We are 10 in a row and on top of the ladder because we are hard to score against. The back six, with support from the mids, Max and the forwards drifting down into the middle third of the ground, have been brilliant. This is easily the best defensive set-up I’ve seen in 45 years of watching the Deez.
The forward set-up continues to be a work in progress. Picking up BBB for what was virtually a song, in today’s terms, was an act of genius. He’ll be a much better player with us than with Norf, and he was darn good with them. I’m yet to speak to a Norf person who does not think that clearing BBB was an act of mindless ludicrousness.
The midfield, as has been the case for years now, is one paced with similar positive attributes and flaws. These are well documented elsewhere on Demonland. What is required urgently is silk in the square. Think Scott Pendlebury, Simon Black, Shaun Burgoyne, Marcus Bontempelli and the prince of princes, Robert Flower. These players are what I call ‘kill ya’ players. Virtually every time they handle the ball, a scoring opportunity is created. We have one of these on the list, and potentially two, depending on how Kossie develops. In short, it’s time to get Salem into the guts.

A questionnaire to be completed at every turnstyle by all Swan supporters. Fail, and there's no admittance.
Q1. What numbers did Stuwie Gull wear at South and at the Deez?
Q2. How many goals did you lose by in the 1987 semi final?
Q3. What was the free-kick imbalance in your favour in the 1990 round six game at the SCG which you won by a goal?
Q4. On a scale of 1 to 1,000,000,000,000,000, how grateful are you that Brasso saved your sweet backsides in 1993?
Q5. Could you please outline in an essay of no less that 1,000 words, where the estimated $350,000,000 has gone that's been shovelled into your club over 30 years?

It was stated on MMM over the weekend that despite clearing the three players at the end of last season, Collingwood's salary cap is still extremely tight and a real mess. They will not have the room to chase a highly paid recruit.
They're not exactly a destination club at the moment either. (How the wheel turns.)
This is a serious question, has the filth ever been a destination club for the comp’s superstars? I can’t think of one they’ve ever landed. (And I’m talking about superstars, not just good players.).

I’m not getting carried away as the Swans are up and about. We’ve got a good brand of footy, and other than Sunday, we are mostly keeping our shape. We know the Swannies are going to come out hard but if we can apply some early scoreboard pressure that should set us up for a good game. Weed, Petty and Harmsy are training the house down, so we have got a bit of coverage and they should be able to come back in and help us maintain our structures. As long as we play our way the scoreboard will take care of itself.

It would mean a fair bit to me. 45 years of systematic trauma, mounting therapy bills, PTSD and ritualistic abuse; top of the ladder certainly counts for something. I've been conditioned to take any small morsel of food that falls on the ground from the Jolimont dining room table.

Hey A F,
Fair point about going early, and I accept that the loss of Dunkley was significant.
I was listening to Daisy Pearce this morning on SEN (one of the few top-line analysers in the commentariat IMHO), and she nailed it (wish I had thought of this last night when I wrote on this board after the game). The Dogs have no plan B, let alone a plan C. She's right, and it's quite obvious in retrospect (shows why I'm not top-line).
The Tiges applied a slow Chinese burn (are we allowed to say that anymore?) over 60 minutes that strangled the Bully's usual game, closing down their flick and run style. Once that was dowsed, the Dogs didn't have another tactic. Top-line contenders usually have a way to counter opposition tactics and swing momentum. The Dogs, to me anyway, didn't really have any answers once their flick-it-around style was contained.
Go Deez!
