We were absolutely cooked in the last. We put the foot down in the third knowing we would run out of gas in the last. That last quarter was just professional defensive slog. Brilliant. Don’t underestimate how tough these two games were.

Trying to frantically get everyone fed, showered and [censored] off is a marathon on a Thursday night post work and pre football. I absolutely loath Thursday night football. Such an unfriendly fixture for anyone under the age of 70.

This is not going to be a walk over. The only certain win right now is West Coast. We have to come out and start well to take the crowd out of the equation.

Was this done via public complaining? No We asked for it privately for 20 years and my understanding is that we finally got it, but were screwed in other ways such as being one of the unlucky ones to play an SA team in gather round, and travel to Perth twice.
