Because Nathan Williamson is more worried about getting his 90s boy band hair on tv than being an actually good umpire who makes consistent logical decisions. The fact that I know his name and number means he’s a rubbish umpire.

The ruck position is completely overrated. Unless your ruckman is Max Gawn.

No sure Petty can ruck another week and this time against two actually great ruckmen. Much food for thought.

100% TOG. The man is superhuman. By the way, Petty returning from a horrible foot injury with 0 pre season and hamstring awareness a week ago, and is expected to ruck against a really good solid ruckman. The pile on is insane. Roo was always going to do better given he trained to do backup rucking all pre season under Gawn while Petty was riding a scooter with a foot in a moonboot.

Melksham’s ACL and Maynard being a POS cost us a flag last year. Nobody will convince me otherwise.

Porky can’t run

AMW getting subbed off was purely about fitness. We had a lot of kids running on a very heavy track. I expected us to run out of gas to be honest. Did not help making the sub and then immediately losing Rivers for 10 minutes to a shoulder jab and strap. Also McVee running rings around Porky Stringer was delightful.

A memo to Metro: it’s ok to finish train works in under a decade and we would all love to have functioning train lines this century. Driving 25 minutes to then catch the train for another 25 minutes is an insanity I could do without.
