  1. Hawkins captain? He is not even the captain of his own team. Wtf? This is a Geelong [censored] fest. Vomit.
  2. Best throw? How the hell do we judge best goal umpire? Least score reviews?
  3. How many Geelong players do we need in this team? Garbage.
  4. Curnow half forward flank. Only won the Coleman. But hey we need to squeeze in as many Geelong players as possible.
  5. He is an absolute gun and funnily enough is still underrated by most of the football world, except those who really matter, the coaches. Also a great player to tie with. Touk Miller is a star. Love to watch him play. Will probably win the Brownlow.
  6. Is anyone else really enjoying the pre finals movie titled “Windy Hill: dumpster on fire”?
  7. I truly apologize if that is how you took my comment. Perhaps my wording was poor. As I clearly stated above I think ALL members should get access to tickets ahead of non members. But to suggest that those who pay more should not get priority is just ridiculous. Those who choose to pay a premium price for a product which specifically states priority access to finals and grand final tickets, deserve to receive that priority. It’s like paying $100,000 for a car or $10,000 for a car and expecting the same quality of product. If next Friday was the grand final and I got crappier seats than someone who paid $66 for their membership during that marketing blitz we did, I would be fuming. I pay 10 times that because I want the full package that comes with the price tag, not because I have money to throw around. My yearly membership is a big expense that I save for every year. It’s not something I just afford without a second thought.
  8. And that was exactly my point. I think premium members should get 1st priority to secure the best tickets / seats. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't make sure ALL members get priority access to tickets. It just means that the more premium your membership, the more opportunities you should be given to get the best seats. Why can't they stagger the ticket release to Cat 1 members, followed by Cat 2 and then the remaining members, and only then open up to general admission? I would be fine if each barcode could get you say 2 tickets at this stage of finals, as a sell out is unlikely, but 10?! Absolutely unnecessary. Nobody who pays hundreds of dollars per year for a premium reserved seat should have to miss out or be lumped on level 4 behind the goals, when we are playing an interstate side in a qualifying final. I got premium seating for the Melbourne Collingwood game in round 20, and I somehow doubt we would get a much bigger crowd than that next Friday. Heaven help us if we draw Pies or Tigers in a Prelim and the same ticketing allocation happens.
  9. I think Goody loves Tom Sparrow in the mix because it means we don't lose much physically when we are resting one of our midfield bulls. He is not at the same level of Trac, Clarry or Viney, but he is still a competitive beast and we don't get outmuscled when he's in there, so it allows us to give the other guys a rest, and it especially allows us to give Trac more time up forward. Frankly I don't see him being dropped. He is too important to the rotation. We could bring Tmac in and play Gawn /Jackson behind the ball instead. Still doesn't resolve who drops out.
  10. I meant no offense. I think I just get very frustrated when all the thousands of dollars people pour into the club every year, and have done so even while we were garbage, don’t amount to anything come finals. It’s a joke.
  11. I just don't understand why tickets don't get released in order of membership premiums. FFS I pay $700 a year and have a reserved seat. Why am I fighting with plebs with ****ty interstate and armchair memberships (no offense to any of you who have these memberships!) for a good seat? As far as I understand, for the grand final, tickets get released in priority batches. If you have a GF guarantee with your membership, you are priority 1. Why then, are all finals not the same? And WTF is with being able to get 10 tickets per barcode? That should only be allowed when general admission is released.
  12. Agreed. Fat chance Salem and Jackson aren't fit for finals in a week and a half with those minor injuries. Brilliant to have another full list available heading into finals.
  13. If West Coast are in the hunt then pick 2 is a must.
  14. If they have an open session at Casey next week I will try to go down and have a look if it falls on a work from home day. But some advance notice would be nice, so let's hope they give us one.
  15. This is where we generally sit so I was stoked to get M50 again. It's just always hard to know if what you are given is a Melbourne allocation, not that Swans supporters worry me, I just rather sit with my own kind 😆
  16. I think if you couldn’t get thru earlier keep trying. There’s no chance there are no decent seats left. I think their website gets overwhelmed and goes into meltdown.
  17. Once I got thru on the phone and paid it still wouldn’t let me thru on the laptop and I had a meeting so I shut down the browser.
  18. Yep that’s what happened to me. I had both going. Sounds like the M50-M52 bays will be full of Melbourne which is great. Just like home games. Bring it on!
  19. Try opening on your phone. I got thru much quicker that way.
  20. It took me 15 minutes to get in (I got thru on my mobile not on the computer FYI). But got our normal M50 Bay so absolutely stoked.
  21. I am in the queue.... this is going swimmingly....
