He might have had to wait a long time for his opportunity, but he’s become a more well rounded and better player because of it. The midfield time he got at Casey made him a complete player at AFL level in that small high half forward role. No chance he would have got midfield time at senior level to develop his gut running and defensive role. And because he’s such a well rounded player now, he won’t be in and out of the team like a lot of inexperienced players, so I hope he understands that and sticks around long term to reap the rewards. Been in my top 5 best players so far this season.

100% Hunty got a raw deal. He didn’t want to go. I am frankly shocked that he didn’t have more interest from better clubs. Given the trend for fast ball movement and going down the line, I would have thought he could have got a regular game at some decent clubs. Certainly wasted at goddamn West Coast. What a disgrace they are.

They might push him til after the Freo game and then bring Salem straight in for him as head into a difficult month (Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong).

Simple answer is yes. He’s completely underrated and is in the top 6 best forwards in the game for mine. I have only Cameron and Curnow ahead of him so far this season.

For someone who is apparently struggling with something, Chandler is playing bloody sensational football. Same goes for Fritta. JVR on light duties not a surprise. Wondering if he’s going to get a rest this week. He won’t make it to September without proper breaks.

If we lose Demonland will go into full blown meltdown.

I love the relationship he has with Goodwin. Every time he came to the bench on Saturday Goodwin put his arms around him. You can tell he’s a very important figure in his life and is a key reason why he’s staying. Kosi is a wonderful role model and example of what talent combined with hard work can help you achieve in life. He must be so inspirational to so many young indigenous kids. Having had a tough upbringing, he remained focused and is achieving his dreams.

Not since Farmer would I have been so heartbroken to lose a player. I would cry and never watch him play again for fear it would cause me too much heartache.

Honestly just the best news. He is a star, he is a marketing dream, he is a fan favourite, he makes kids want to come to watch football.

A putrid performance. But the Crows/Pies game was just as bad. The obvious frees not paid to Pies in the last were daylight robbery. I was applauding it, but in reality it was a complete joke. Two very obvious highs not paid. One on the wing, one in the goal square. Just to name a few.

And the weather was stunning. But they'll say it's at Marvel and they don't go to Marvel. If we play GC at Marvel on Sunday we would have got 20,000 too. Still, no excuses.

I honestly can't wait to play them at the G in a few weeks time. Double motivation to destroy them. I want to win by 10+ goals, and I want Grundy to dominate Jackson and I then want to see Jackson line up on Steven May at FF. LOL.

Oliver had 16 touches at the first break. He would have got to 45-50 quite easily if he didn't spend sub 80% TOG after that first quarter. He started both the third and fourth quarters on the bench. At first I thought he was injured, because I honestly don't remember him ever ever ever starting a quarter on the bench. But no, he was just being heavily managed.
