I will go the other way if the 5 day break affected us why did we run all over them, they kicked 4 goal 3 and we kicked 8 goals 9 after half time so I don't think that was the real problem.

I never said you were and I love Saturday afternoon games myself but unfortunately being a better club result wise the sponsors love it, bigger audience bigger exposure for them, just remember we started slow and a bullet train coming home so it's not a fitness issue otherwise we would have been beaten by 10 goals plus. As I have said before we are a one paced midfield who rely on contested possessions not quick movement.

Regarding the forwards I agree with that but a lot of the problems are forwards flat footed, no running patterns players standing behind their opponents, maybe they should listen to Nick Riewoldt, Jason Dunstall etc they call it running in figure eights move around so you can be on the go all the time instead of standing around their is no system and it's been that way for the last 2 years.

There is no doubt that the team is very fit and the blues started slowing down particularly in the last quarter, players like ANB etc have better impact later on in games than when the game is first started at pace that's why we need a quick skilled player in the midfield.

And yet people complained about not being on prime time tv spot for years which is great for sponsors and thr club for exposure and now you don't want that cannot have it both ways.

Damm well said but I'm afraid it will go over people's head, it's easy to blame someone else that look at the teams downfall when we don't win.

Have to disagree there we need pace and skill in the midfield we cannot continue to be one paced and you know my thoughts about the forward line.

People go by results not facts, people who don't look at the game but thought one eye, we have had forward line problems since 22 and not addressed, yes we came back but the game was gone in the first half.

What year was that? Football is played with a different style now, we were the dogs of 2016 right place right time.

My kingdom for a forward coach, one that can teach the young players how to use their body and how and when to lead would be a start.
