So should the best women soccer players in the world be paid the same as the best men soccer players? I'm sure there are some top female soccer players out there who work harder at their sport then Beckham, C Ronaldo etc. Should the best women AFL players get paid the same best men AFL players simply because they are the best of their gender? If we had 2 seperate grand slams - a singles mens and a singles womens - the womens would heavily struggle for attendance and sponsorship. The men should at least be getting double what the women get.

Wrong. The 17 year olds have to agree to sign the contract and not opt for the draft. GC could do this this year also and signed a few 17 year olds from QLD. For example Dayne Beams (the one with the tats) who was from QLD rejected gold coasts offer and opted for the draft this year.

What really hurts is that carlton can win 8 games in 2 seasons and get pick 1 and pick 3, while we win 8 games in two seasons and only get pick 1.
