I hope we recruit players who can hand pass 5 metres to position and hit their team mate and not his boot laces, a metre over his head, behind or in front of him. Being able to hit a target 20 metres away by foot would also help. Beyond that I don't care what position they play, if they are socially reprehensible, kick their cat , swear at their mother or are racist .

God only knows how they have had bugger all positive to write about.

I for one will curse the loss of a round one draft pick. But have next to no expectancy that the problem will arise.

At the risk of offending you Redleg you are over indulging in this thing about how badly done by we are. 80% of our problems are self inflected. The AFL have done a fair bit for us Off field and we will get what is due us and nothing more. The general football public think we deserve our current position because despite AFL help we have caused the problem we now endure. They simple dont care. I have numerous friends who support other teams their attitude to a man is Stop whining and get on with it. They simply dont care if we fade away. They are happy for us to remain easy beats and I think a majority at the AFL have the same attituide. Nothing is going to change we will have to find a way out of this position or go out backwards. They are the choices as far as I can see.

So far the poll is close to what I would have expected 37% says I would leave the AFL and is one of the reasons the AFL changed from looking to reduce the No of teams. Their research showed that after three years more than half the supporters of the lost / merged team had left the AFL completely. For me it is the MFC or nothing. After last Saturday I would be crying for not more than five minutes.
