I have a fairly simple philosophy on this bb. If Hogan either wants to go back to WA or is just waiting till 2017 to see what the offers are like then there is bugger all we can do about it. After three years of this regime at the MFC I am confident they will do there utmost to keep Hogan by giving him a good but reasonable offer. If next year he decides not to stay then so be it. In today's professional era that is the way the cookie crumbles. If he does go we hold significant bargaining power, if he does go the club he goes to is going to need to ante up with a very good offer. All sweet the MFC world will go on.

CBF I have a brother who lives in Brisbane and is a Lions member. He has been telling me that they have been in trouble for three years. Basically they have had similar problems to the MFC, poor board, poor recruiting and the added problem of having interstate recruits returning home and expressed that desire from day one . They are really in a bad state the only thing stopping them from folding is the AFL. Does that sound familiar?

I don't want this guy unless he is a moderate cost. I would want to be very sure he is capable of playing most games over the next three years.

I could not agree more LDC but in the case of the IOC it will never happen. They are morally corrupt to their boot laces.

I think that was JKH's third game for the year and his first in Casey Seniors. You also have to consider the opposition who where obviously well below Casey. From that game at Casey to Port at home is a quantum leap. IMO there is no chance he would be promoted at this point.
