Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen! No I have not jumped from any high place, drawn a hot bath, swallowed any tablets or drunk too much single malt. However the sad thing is I got exactly what I had hoped would not happen last Sunday. Did not see the game I was in Sydney where you would not know the game had happened. I actually had a good weekend. Now back in Melbourne and the real world has returned. Another year of irrelevance to the competition stretches out ahead. The MFC is blessed with easily the poorest list that I think we are going to struggle to survive. Sunday afternoon was not the end but it may well be the beginning of the end.

If we sat on the bench and shouted abuse we would achieve more thanDawes, Clark, Gawn, and Jamar. Honestly have you ever seen such a bunch of broken down footballers ( I use that term loosely ) .

dd I am happy to hear about Freddy and anyone else Sure beats the good news injury stories on half the list, constant bickering on most threads, Will Clark be cast into the street, will we win 1 game of nil this year, should we have picked wines etc etc etc. Happy to read about East Perth and Subi.

Had a Banana , Date and sultana sandwich today. It was ok but a level down from Banana and P Nut butter Obviously there are no suggestions from the gallery so I will have to plough on unaided

H_T Surely you are dagging us! Garland has not even been in normal training for two months and Viney has played part of one game and had concussion two weeks ago after missing about four weeks of pre season training. I would think he needs two weeks at Casey minimum before appearing at AFL level.

I think that banana sandwiches will need to be on the menu every Monday because I cannot see the MFC improving this side of the mid year break.

It is sad Redleg that the enjoyment in my Mondays is now down to sandwich fillings. I can only dream of alternatives during the Footy season

I was during lunch today reflecting on the meaning of life. I was contemplating what it would take for me not to care what happens at the MFC every winter. I came up with no answer other than Banana and Peanut butter sandwiches are right up there on the top of the sandwich filling list. Have no idea why I do not enjoy them more often.
