I was just vacuuming the floor and a thought came to me (yes I know does not happen often ). I will know when the Dees have arrived as a serious player when the games mean more to me than Demonland.

I have thought this for a while now Redleg. Now I will be branded a pessimist but I think you are looking at a continuing saga for 2014. I have zero confidence that any of the Trio will (a) be seen together (b) that we will see Clark before mid year © Dawes will be a repeat of last year a dozen games if we are lucky mixed with 4 week breaks for soft tissue injuries.

With the best time of the year for Dees fans drawing to a close , some would say it ended last saturday Draft time is November 2014. I think we can say that is the next highlight and the start of the 2015 season DF

I was today rang by the club trying to get more money from me. It was an interesting discussion ( not the money ) as we discussed the coming season. The person who contact me I believe was not expecting a lot more than 2013 it is was refreshingly honest. I have no idea how these people get themselves up for this thankless job. They have my admiration way more than the Players and officials who get paid handsomely to perform their functions. I think he was surprised that I was so cheerful. He seemed to brighten up substantially after I cracked a couple of jokes with him. Thank God for these people I wonder where clubs would be without them.

That says it perfectly Redleg. I guess it is just the way of the world but it seems like the MFC are carrying more than their share of tragedy in recent times.

There is nothing new in this DF. However I have had a fair share of fun outside of the MFC so perhaps it is the MFC they hate and not us?
