I have wondered some days if he knows either, just seems lost. He is of course an outside player and at present that means there is no one to give him the ball. He might well be a genius at Essendon.

binman you will not find any criticism of the current FD by me. It is too early to know if they are good or not. IMO the majority of our problems lies with the players. I have being saying elsewhere for over a year that we do not have the cattle. We simply have a poor list. The current board and GM gave us this list by supporting the wrong team. It is their responsibility and they are the ones that have to take the blame. PS I hope you are right with 5 - 6 wins but I am struggling with who they might be

I have never suggested that anyone should be sacked now rpfc. But if at the end of 2012 we are 0 -22 or similar What would your next move be? IMO If we are 0 -22 or similar with an average losing margin of 10 goals that is a drastic situation it would probably be our worst yearly performance ever. There is not another club in the competition that would not be calling for blood in that scenario. IMO one of the reasons we have spent 48 years between drinks is because MFC members are too accepting. When is it time to rock the boat?

IMO DemonWA they are both loved by the FD for reasons that are far from apparent to me. Not sure why players who average half a dozen posessions a game and have no impact on the result keep getting picked every week. Can you please explain ?

RobbieF If his instruction is to get very low stats eg 2 kicks, 5 handballs and 3 marks for no scores against Carlton. Then I have serious problems with the instructions He has next to no impact in games, he is very similar to Bennell. Adelaide cut him and we are seeing the reasons why IMO.

Stuie this could easily be the worse on field performance by a MFC team in 50 years. In the end the buck stops at the door of the Chairman and GM. If we look at the performance of both during 2011 and since I see little that gives me confidence they are the ones to lead us into 2013 and beyond.

Bossdog I think we are in basic agreement but I am very tried of the patience thread. I acknowledge that there is not much we can do about the players we have and our position. We are in the same position ( player wise ) we were in 4 years ago and that will take quite a while to change. So like you I just have to wait but it is bloody frustrating. Re the management. I see the GM and our Chairman ( reluctantly took the position he never wanted ) as average. Both have been around a few years now and look where they have bought us to mid 2012. For better or worse the buck stops at their doors, time for them to move aside.

I agree with most of the above Bossdog. The exceptions are -We are the worse side in the competition with no wins and an average losing margin of almost 10 goals. This is five years into a rebuild that we were told was necessary and would take time. We are at this level after five years and still waiting, to want more at this point can hardly be descibed as wanting instant sucess. - There are still gaping holes in our management structure

Sorry Nasher I did not twig till I read your comment again. As strange as it might seem the games I have been to suggest that they are trying hard. That is what confirms for me that we are serious short of skill.

Dear Dr. When you find it I would like a look as well. It may be file before Pink and Blue and Maroon and Blue Seriously all this hertage stuff gives me the gripes. IMO Nasher you have neglected one ellement. Skill, we do not have enough. It does not matter how fit we become we just do not have enough quality players. No amount of effort will cover that problem

Will that make much difference to the score line PaulRB. A large number seem to be witches hats most weeks so does it matter which ones we use?

I would expect Dr. that with recruiting people contracts would expire at the end of the year i.e. after draft day. But saying what you "expect" can often make you look silly. So Taylor, Collingwood and the MFC would be the only ones who know and all of them are saying nothing.

The natural extension to this simma02 is if everyone is with the coach we have an even worse playing list than I thought. If we are all happy then the results are even worse. Imagine the results if there was no harmony!

Hi PSD My daughter years ago did what your 6 year old is doing ( except it was the Bombers ). In spite of all my work she never came back. A number of Premierships later and now top of the table makes her decision like a wise one. Unfortunately I do not think you are going to win this one. The Pies are going to be succesful for the next 5 years and the Dees the reverse By 11 he will be locked in PSD. But good luck with the way ahead
