  1. Given your earlier appointment DC, I'd be worried about things other than my integrity remaining intact.
  2. "apparently as Jamar provides more clean ball." I find that really interesting triple j and I would invite some comments. My observation of Jamar, apart from his one stellar year, is that the tapouts he wins are largely ineffective. This is because he tends to tap downwards rather than clearing the stoppage. Unless you have a bulldozer under there it is very difficult to get a clean possession.
  3. Your ethical standards should be an inspiration to all Biffo. Maybe that job in Rome...............?
  4. Yet,as many posters above have observed and complained about, we are still stuck with a hefty fine and will remain the butt of "tanking jokes" for years to come.
  5. Tell him , at our age, "tricks" are mostly smoke and mirrors.
  6. Just back old mate, so a point or two. You base your rebuttal on three “factors” – “form”, “contact” and “age”. Yes his form has been poor but form it is not immutable and given his improved fitness, new coach etc, and good summer training it is possible (not certain) that it will to some extent return. A positive view would be that that Davey has a good chance of finding some of this elusive quality. His age is closing on 30 but so far as I am aware that number does not have a magical quality in itself and many players finish prior to attaining it just as many play on beyond that age. In those latter cases form is more relevant than chronology. Yes he is in the last year of his contract but, as I understand it contracts can be renegotiated or renewed, generally depending again, on form. I would argue then that it really comes down to form and as there have been a number of positive training reports about him and, unless you have a working crystal ball,I hold to my previous conclusion that your view is negative rather than “realistic”. Especially in view of the fact that you claim to “love the guy”.
  7. Stuie you're ( note not your) getting into other posters for being negative about Davey, yet you blithely announce that "It's most likely his last year". What is the source of this sublime insight?
  8. Well they are called the nab after all.
  9. Yes but he had a long history of injury.
  10. Good post DC. Love the intense and cutting debate. I reckon Stuie's over there incognito.
  11. And I thought she was only interested in me. I feel jilted and used. Soiled and dirty even.
  12. Correct! Let's not get hysterical just yet.
  13. Scruie you're back ( note how to spell you're). I thought your remarkably vulgar post about Kero would have got you banned forever. However, I am genuinely glad you're back - may the fun continue.
  14. You're correct Ted. This thread has gone on and on based on speculation. I think I have made a couple of posts but it is all BS untill we get some serious info/charges/responses. I hope it is soon. l
  15. That's why I have opted for a conservative lifestyle in a semi rural backwater.
  16. Maybe former virgins. Or, once were virgins. Could be a film in this. Better still. The virgin and the banana. Maybe best to stop this line of thinking.
  17. I hope he doesn't get into bad habits.
  18. Good point! I would have said the Pope but even he's chucking it in.
  19. Both the article this morning by that nonentity Rucci and Kero's latest offering make very confident assertions about Melbourne's guilt. While we all wait for some official comment, I cannot help but wonder what is behind these two "journalists" comments.
  20. Is that site on your favourites list DC?
  21. Suggestion. Innuendo. Smut. It doesn't take long for a conversation to go downhill on this site. I think this is what the Good Samaritans referred to as an "occasion of sin". I'm out of here before, as a penance, I have to give myself a good flogging
  22. FMD. Every kiwi athlete I've ever heard of has no neck, weighs off the scale and gave up a promising boxing career. Yet we pick a skinny kid.
  23. I must confess. It does become a habit.
