  1. Beware of absolutes. It would be possible to have one without the other. The perfect game of golf would be to score 18. Unlikely I'll admit. The perfect game of football would be to take the ball at the initial centre bounce and not give it up for the quarter. More likely than the golf scenario but still unlikely.
  2. Well Dinga, I'm no wrap for our Vlad, but if this mob is "socialist" then the original Vladimir (the bloke who helped kick it all off) would roll over in his mausoleum!
  3. We need about 25 blokes to improve on last years efforts.
  4. Just showed that to the lads. Had to dish out the valiums.
  5. is that where your brazillian inspiration came from DC?
  6. It is very disturbing that you could even conjure up such a thought Moonie. I think you need some help - it's time to admit this. I'm sure many on this site could recommend counsellors and psych's who they have confidence in.
  7. No couldn't have been - our park was closed for a hunt. touche DC
  8. Bet you don't publish those mixed bloodlines in Borewood DC.
  9. Yeah good point DC. A fairly serious character apparently found 40 days and 40 nights enough.
  10. No un elite here OD. We are all doers of good. We have due sympathy for natives, migrants and poor people in general. Our servants are well fed and get one day off per month - no meals that day of course.
  11. I sense some class elitism sneaking into this thread. I wont have it! We of the Romsey gentry are the only elite hereabouts.
  12. I think I'll stick to Romsey in future OD. BTW spent Saturday hight at place called "The Royce". Tad better than the Gat - but highly overated.
  13. I was down that neck of the woods this morning but forgot all about the family day. Drove past the Gat - a crowd of undesables out the front. However, the purpose to this post. I tried to get on to Queens road and followed a detour sign. I ended up doing a lap of the Great Pricks circuit which concluded at the old cricket ground. What a mess - now I see why locals object to having this so called sport inflicted upon them
  14. And where one can follow the rule, "love thy neighbour".
  15. Yes he's really lifted his game. If he keeps this up he will become even sillier than Robinson from the Hun. (Big call I know)
  16. What a patronising [censored] Dermie has developed into. The censored above was [censored] I think it appropriate in this context.
  17. More like an albatross, I should think.
  18. Come on OD let's have a glimpse of optimism. A memorable Dees win and the Aussies giving South Africa a touch up. Btw I couldn't help but notice how calm but intense Roos looked in the coaches box. There is certainly a gravitas about him. I can still conjure up visions of Neeld constantly scribbling (obviously useless) notes. I haven't felt this upbeat since the day I ran over a lyrebird.
  19. Agree with gnasher - we looked like a footy team. One of those things that other supporters have been following for years.
  20. Normal day at the orifice.
  21. Haven't see you for a while Clint. Going to fill the board if Dees win (or lose)?
  22. Back in the sixties/seventies the church tried to sell the rhythm method to good catholics. I thought it referred to rate of stroke and well .. look at me now. The church has much to answer for.
  23. Or residents of Borewood. Negative as usual Moonie.
  24. Did Neeld actually have a "coaching career"? I reckon we missed it mjt!
