  1. Don't worry OD. Shannon Byrnes will tear it up as a small forward and kick us to victory.
  2. Don't see Romsey on the above map - therefore useless. BTW any of you techno effers know about malware? Apparently it's why my computer is currently stuffed. Tech told me I been visiting some nasty internet sites. I thought that was offensive to Demonland. The only other sites I've visited recently were recommended by Biffen - so I imagine they'd be OK. BTW - I'll be in and out for the next few days.
  3. Well I'm glad that's been cleared up!
  4. I used to go to school in Clifton Hill and fight the local filth. Must admit, I only won a couple.
  5. I am I missing something here Ben? What made you resurrect this post from 2010? ( that is apart from the obvious contradiction that I've " been a Melbourne supporter for my whole life apart from a brief 6 season stint from 1992 - 1997" ? There are mysteries here,I'll have to get onto these forums more often.
  6. Glad you're back Biffen and your "health" problems behind you.
  7. It will not do Dr! We cannot allow "wanna" as acceptable usage under any circumstances.
  8. There are a number of things I might argue with the sides mentioned above. However, in our current situation, there is only only one bloke with the smarts and ability to play CHF. Dawes. Fitzy would run around in circles and, while Hoges will play that position in the future, let's not cruel him just yet.
  9. Fitzy has improved and I love his work but if both are fit, Dawes is a class ahead. More experience, works smarter, better contested mark, knows where to run and a leader.
  10. Well of course it is when it is someone else's.
  11. Would love to have caught up with you OD. Actually had a disappointing day in that regard. Biffen was going to come but had to have his stomach pumped due to an "OD". I thought Moon might be there but he couldn't spell Gosch's so was unable to find the place. I was also looking for a bloke standing on his own and being avoided by others but couldn't see one - Stuie apparently was absent also.
  12. That is fantastic news OD. I have to say Dawes has really impressed in the games I saw him play. We were [censored] but he acted like a true pro and ran, presented and chased. His training has been first rate and he is an example of how to be a professional athlete. I would love to see him play a full season.
  13. You can play round 1 wherever you want master. Unfortunately I don't see it making a diff to Clark. However, I not writing him off completely - I just think it's going to be a slow process. Matthew Richardson eventually recovered from one of lisfranc (spellings wrong) injuries and he was handy.
  14. Robbo's a character but he doesn't strike me as ths sharpest knife in the set. Still he probably makes more money than me.
  15. Did you pay a quick visit to Lourdes OD. I didn't see an old bastard on a walking frame at the intra club today.
  16. Just listened to Robbo's blurb. How can paying out cash be "fun and exciting"?
  17. Spencer for me but, I have to say that kid King seems impressive. Long way to go though.
  18. Fair points Master but I didn't envisage them all on at once. Also Fitzy has a mobility upside in that I reckon he could go back or play like a "wing" or receiving mid. Anyway it's February after all and anything is possible.
  19. BTW. Forgot to mention in my training report. Met one of our ( new?) board members today - Jeremy Nicholls. Helluva nice fellow. We had a bit of a general chat and what impressed was how he emphasised the cohesive nature of the club. Everyone knows their role and are working hard at it. I know that's the party line in any organisation but this bloke was enthusiastic and keen to talk. Liked him.
  20. I was impressed with our big blokes today. How about this scenario if Clark is not fit. Gawn plays mostly as a forward. Dawes plays CHF because he is prepared to run. Spencer does most of the ruck. Hogan plays forward up to the wing. Fitzy similar. One always off the ground.
