  1. Good work. The only problem with multiple vehicles is that Lordweaver won't be able to lead prayers on root (as it were). Maybe we could all have a service at Wattle Park beforehand? Anyway, we can sleep on the finer details.
  2. Like your thinking DC but a convey of 4WD's would be preferable to a common bus. Hummers if possible. Althiough I'm not sure they'd have the wheelchair access that some D'landers would require.
  3. Yes. Can do the drizabone - although the "lads" have been sleeping on it. You will need to find a suitably weather beaten akubra but I'm glad you're prepared to make an effort. BTW. Don't let it slip you're from Borwood.
  4. As OD is aware I'm heading overseas on Sunday. So I'm just going to leave this little prewarning note for all to consider and put in the diary. "Bendigo has been chosen to host the prestigious 2013 Australian Alpaca Association (AAA) National Show & Sale at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre from October 10 to -13, 2013" Details will be online. However, this is an ideal opportunity for many of the uncouth types who post on Demonland to mix in refined company and (possibly) gain some couthness. DC take note - you need it. Stuie , you won't get past the gate. Lordweaver perhaps a psalm or two may help. Moon - no hope. Song - don't admit to being a teacher. OD, perhaps if WYL wheels you in you may get a concession entry. Redleg - bananas will do you no good. WJ - I'll get you a free pass if you exempt me from Biffen's fate at the Gatwick next time I insult someone. I haven't got all night so I hope the rest of you get the "vibe" of how prestigious and selective this event is, compare yourself to the group above, and decide whether or not you are worhty participants. BTW. As for the loon from WA. Bribery is your only (very faint) hope. No forget it, stay home and don't embarrass yourself.
  5. Sane?. Not sure about that OD.
  6. BTW. Today is Basil Rathbone's birtday so i'm going to watch "Hound of the Baskervilles" Good night.
  7. Nah! That's the cockroaches OD.
  8. I had them offered to me at a roadside stall in Malaysia. I politely declined (although they did look crunchy) and stuck to the warm beer.
  9. Well we should be OD and we we need be particularly suspicious of blokes who come from Burwood. Edit missing word
  10. Yes. We need to become all embracing.
  11. A man returns from his regular Sunday servicing to find this. What a scurrilous conspiracy? An unholy union if ever there was one. The “lads” are mortified at being labelled fox killers. I’ll do my bit to make certain there are no Queen’s honours for you two.
  12. No reputable organisation wouldn't have a chapter in such a scruffy place as Burwood.
  13. Sorry to be blunt but you need to take a firm grip of yourself Biffen. Tasers indeed! Has all tradition gone out the window? The Christain brothers made me the man I am and they stuck to tradition. I must go, I’m having an attack of the vapours.
  14. May have to buy myself a cravat and Jodhpors ,riding crop etc. The riding crop is compulsory. A selection of good rattan canes would help. As would a tawse ..... but I digress.
  15. if you could connect me up with some of your allies in the House of Lords I am willing to learn . It’s all about image Biffo. How do you expect the landed gentry to take you seriously if your address is The Gatwick Private Hotel? I mean really!!! Even Burwood would have more appeal. And look at your scruffy picture. I realize you would cope famously with some of the upper house “eccentricities” but you would require a major makeover. Sorry to be hurtful.
  16. Good question RL. As you have correctly observed, Latex makes a perfectly functional raincoat. However, I believe there are those of other “persuasions” ( not necessarily religious) who like wearing latex for more, shall we say personal reasons. And then of course there is Biffen who appears to observe the guiding principle that “nothing exceeds likes excess”. OD. Even without anaesthetic it will probably be better than Monday at the "G.
  17. I must confess to having only a passing (as opposed to working) knowledge of such peccadillos. Consulting with a British conservative politician may be useful. However, I do know that quite a bit of GBH has been enacted at the Gatwick over the years.
  18. Rainwater is not usually the primary liquid of concern to latex afficionados. Edit spelling
  19. Latex is quite versatile.
  20. Yes Yes I know OD but I think we would both be enlightened by Biff's explanation of " sensitive " matters. BTW I'm betting it's warmer in Bangkok than Romsey. And I'll be there at the end of the month. Another BTW, if you discover a good tailor let me know.
  21. I think Biff was specific only about peeled bananas OD. Just keep that thought in mind and avoid them. I'll leave it to Biff or perhaps the Burwood boy to expand on this matter.
  22. You been slumming it DC?
  23. Just keep drinking OD. The pain does go. Eventually.
