  1. FMD. There's been 30 posts or so without an offering from Big Frog. Is he dead? RIP?
  2. I seem unable to find The Gat in the Michelin Guide. Surprising.
  3. Do not try to gain employment as a counsellor DC - your record speaks for itself.
  4. Usually Moonie, your posts have the effect of either a sedative or a suppository on me. However, this time you piqued my interest by helping me recall a moment from the past. I shall graciously share this with you and [censored]. I was attending a soiree of fellow degenerates during the 70’s. It was a classy affair and the theme required one to dress up as some sort of religious type. As befits my station I, of course, chose the Pontiff as my inspiration. As the evening advanced amid cheap pot and long necks, I made the acquaintance of a particularly fetching nun. To cut a long story short, said nun had a very broad interpretation of the vow of chastity and the evening ended satisfactorily. So whilst I have never joined the priesthood, i have been a Pope. And, as to priestesses, I believe there were some of those at the get together but I had already fallen into a bad habit.
  5. Good work Moon. By admitting to and facing your abhorrent and deviant behaviours you have taken an important step towards rehabilitation. Now seek the Lord's guidance.
  6. Which , though bizarre, is preferable to what Moonshadow does with a similar implement.
  7. Joe Jackson speculated on that question in the early 80's
  8. As far as I know "real men" don't shave with can openers in Victoria either.
  9. Nicely done R+B. I was trying to come up with something like that. BTW. And yes I am being a pedantic arse but what we are discussing, and certainly what is pictured, is correctly called a "jemmy" or ".prise bar". A crow bar is a different species. We rough and tough rural types know about tools as we are constantly handling them.
  10. Odd coincidence! I was just reading down this thread thinking about that very matter when I found your post DC. However, I am yet to arrive at any "best fit" explanation so I'll sleep on it. Perhaps Biffen may have ideas. Heavy/blunt/curious instruments are quite popular at the Gat.
  11. Thanks DC. I've seen a few pieces from the 18 century with hidden compartments but nothing like the stuff on that link. What a designer.
  12. I graciously accept your acclamation of my beneficence.
  13. There was another name underconsideration.
  14. I see you like the friend thing BF. Good for you. I'm not into it myself but there's a bloke named Stuie who posts on this board. He needs all the friends he can get. Could be your good deed for the day.
  15. You travel in a social stratosphere that most of us mere plebs can only aspire to.
  16. Surely you've heard of golden fleece Biff?
  17. I could knock up a wig or two next time I dag the alpacas. Could be the next trend in chambers.
  18. Wander over to Shifty (John for PM) Elliot park and cast your mojo.
  19. Just to prove that I really am a twisted soul here's something to make you banana freaks feel as miserable as I do at this hour of the day. Banana Bread Can Contain Unhealthy Ingredients Unfortunately, many prepackaged banana breads don't contain these nutrient-packed ingredients. They may contain high-fructose corn syrup, white sugar, white flour, hydrogenated oils and even banana flavoring instead of a substantial amount of real banana. Banana bread If you consider that the average muffin or slice of banana bread contains more than 60 grams of total carbohydrate (the equivalent of four slices of bread), 20-30 grams of fat and at least four teaspoons of sugar, it is safe to say that there is nothing healthy about banana bread except the bananas, and it should really just be called banana cake.
  20. Well, to prepare for the sad day, make sure you keep yourself well pickled with the single malts OD.
  21. Bah! She's one of Biffen's girls - works out of the Gat.
  22. Just been reading the thread about server errors and costs etc. So, given it's trade time I wondered who, if any Dland could trade out to raise a few bucks to keep the site going? Who has any value to other sites? Just a few thoughts- OD? Sorry mate but with limited time ahead not worth much. Young dee? Inexperienced but prolific – possible trade to Bomber blitz. WYL – Has pizzed everyone off so no trade value. The Big [censored]. Sprays it everywhere – but hoping someone will take him. Biffen. Serious drug and lifestyle problems. A bit like Garlett – no interest. DC. Flouts his underwear in public – obvious exhibitionist – maybe a bit of run on occasions but would go cheap. Stuie – Wants to be Captain but ..... Moonshadow – couldn’t really even put him up for trade. Obvious user of illegal substances, bizarre lifestyle. Clearly has mental issues. Sounds a bit harsh I know but due diligence would find him out. Ben Hur – Would want to be Captain even more than Stuie – obvious friction there. ‘ ... bubsie??? Effed up due to name change. That Clint Eastwood bloke – Jesus Christ That Song bloke with the buffed breasts and RTG are both Schoolteachers – not worth a cracker. Sorry guys – I left another dozen or so failures out ( at least). I simply became too depressed. Demonland is about as tradeable as MFC. Of course I, modestly, must mention myself, high trade value but loyal. So don’t worry, I’ll stick.
