Chris Judd thinks we celebrated too hard.
Brayshaws' Helmet replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I watched FC last night, and was surprised by the opinion in the dot points in the opening, considering i don't think we actually over celebrated... maybe we did cause channel 7 cut about 30 seconds after the game for me. But... Judd clarified on the show, saying, we should save the celebration for when we actually win in September, which he was quite bullish about us doing. Giving us a clip in a sense, but he thinks we go deep. So maybe save the outrage. Big picture call Caro -
we're calling him "the Frittata" right?

I work in a kitchen and just finished up to check how much we lost by... guess I'll have to watch the replay. It's wins like this that make tipping them every week really satisfying when it pays off. GET AROUND THEM!

Standard hammy it seems
-
Cause they've played poorly this year and they're still 3-0. They're making finals for sure

I'm not going to get into a historical stats discussion here cause we could probably go all the way back to 1850 given the time. Its the same thing we say about beating Carlton last week, better teams just know how to win. Thought we were hard at it today though

They're 3 - 0

I know what you mean, but at the moment I think he's playing the undersized lock down defender pretty well and has been doing it for a while, with some pundits on tv putting him in the small defender AA team conversation (couple years ago?). I guess it's all about what you value, he does rebound when he can but he's also an in and under tough man on man defender. Even beating Levi in the air today a couple times. IMO just let him keep doing what he's doing

What about hip and shouldering kruz to the ground in the last. Nev has been one of our most underrated for a while now, he just keeps going on and going on

I completely agree. It's amazing on here the amount of negativity that can spur from a medium played game. There's certainly an over analysis of players on demonland were some posters want every player to play like pd35 every week. Nobody has moved on to melbournes direction of everybody playing a role to get the win. Weather some players made mistakes in the heat of the moment they're still learning week to week being one of the youngest teams in the comp. Finding that the general consensus on here is a good portion of posters only looking at 1 Team playing the game, and not working out that every single player will not beat their opponent every week. Surely a good way to get ulcers Winning, it's good for the soul guys, get around it

Surely there has to be a happy median between "dees are back and ready to play finals" last week, and "this is the worst game I've seen in a long time" can't please many on here, even when you start 2 - 0
-
Agreed, never thought they looked lazy, definitely tried all day, you could see some players running with nothing left in the tank in the last. It wasn't a great win by any means, but it's the emergence of a more competitive team. i think the panic is because they expected to win, and lost control. At least they came over the top outplayed them in 3 quarters. More polish in some areas, but just played better overall. Deserved the win, has everyone forgot the first half?

I think a game like today shows that we miss Bernie vince when he gets reported. Don't get me wrong, I like that he snipes, I just wish he got away with it. Good or bad, it's nice to be unbeaten albeit after 2 rounds
