pretty much nothing.. just said we won't know until the end of the year (wow.. really?) and that GWS submitted 3-4 contracts at the end of last year to the AFL and one of those "might" be his so once again.. pretty much nothing!

was it Scully or Ward that they said had a birthday party and hardly any of his team mates were actually there? I kind of missed the start of that..but faily sure they said it was Scully did anyone see in the herald sun that Davey and another 'young leader of the club' (maybe Grimes or Jones I am guessing?) plan to sit down with Scully and confront him about what he is thinking, etc? If so, that is a great idea.. worth a shot!

ahh.. i never said that?? what i was getting at is if they only have 5 uncontracted players plus a list full of bottom wage rookies.. you could pay scully and ward the majority of their salaries in the first year.. that way they can still offer massive contracts to players (like pendles) next year because most of scully and ward's contract have been paid in the first year!

if Barrett is right.. and GWS are only targeting 5 players this year and will target the rest next year.. you would think they would front load the crap out of scully and ward's contract so they have plenty to spend the years after on players like Pendles, etc

I have to agree with you! I enjoy reading Demonland to hear some of the 'sources' people have.. granted a lot of them probably are B.S.. but i dont see why people crack it at them for bringing something to the table that might be true! just because the rumours arent always what we want to hear.. doesnt mean we have to blast fellow melbourne supporters! we are all on the same side.. we all go for the dees.. and we all want scully to stay! I want to trust scully and from what I have seen he seems like a fairly honest guy! please dont hold back posting rumours.. it makes the thread interesting!!

This is another "friend of a friend" story.. but apparently Scully absolutely loves Stynes.. apparently he is like his hero these days. They said he has a poster of him in his room and also has all of these letters from Jimmy around his room that Jimmy has written for him. The fact that Jimmy sat down with him and asked him face to face and he denied that he has been approached is pretty full on. Scully has a reputation as being loyal, so that is pretty messed up if he still leaves! on a side note they also said that on Scully's calendar he has every meal planned out for the entire month.. he is a complete health freak as we already know.

can you really see Spence or Fitz being the answer for us down the track? They havent showed that much to get excited about.. At least we can play Gorringe in the ruck or forward (which is perfect with the new interchange rules!) Bring on the Gorringe!!
