Collingwood need to send someone to Gold Coast that will get us Pick 3 combined with our Pick 6. Surely this is what we'll be telling Collingwood they need to do to get the deal done.

I to agree with what Plough said. And as far as improvement goes, it depends on what we see as improvement. I think we'll win at least 9-10 games in 2016 (min) and be a smokey for finals, while plough thinks it will be closer to the 7 mark. He reckons the signs are good as we all do, but that it's a few more years off. I didn't find it depressing as it's pretty much where i see us at, although see us with at least 2 more wins then Plough does. I think something as simple as moving Garland forward to allow more opportunities for Frost and Oscar could help our scoring a lot.

I'm confussed. So do you know what attributes they bring to the table or not?

Bugg is a tough hard running defender/midfielder. He's versatile in relation to where he can play. Also Roos has already said himself, with the interchange cap, he can see the need for a tag returning to the game. I'd say that role has Bugg's name written all over it. Kennedy is a qucik outside midfielder/forward who can break the lines and kick goals. He can also win his own ball unlike someone like Toumpas. He's struggled with his disposal at AFL level, but that's something that can be ironed out, as his disposal at junior & VFL level is very tidy. Both players offer plenty that we can work with. I'll back Roos & co to get the best out of them.

Understand the lack of excitiment, but at the same time they fit the typical Roos recruit that turn into very good team players. Both have certain attributes I like, so I'll back the club in on both of them.

No we weren't. His time with us was up, especially with the additions of Oscar & Frost. He was very good at VFL level this year and I thought was good in two of his three senior matches despite tunnel ball. I thought he could of been useful steak knives for a trade, but didn't see him with us for 2016. I wish him well. Always liked him.

Still 6 & a half days. Plenty of time. Once it hits Tuesday, that's when any deals that are yet to be done, you start to wonder about.

If he's a jet who breaks the lines and hits his team mates lace out then I'm not to concerned about his contested marking. Don't see Nathan Jones or Jack Viney taking too many either.

Suggested the same just the page over. If we're that keen on Pick 3 then I reckon it shoud, along with moving Pick 46 up to 35. We can then use that Pick along with Toumpas to try and bring Kennedy & Bugg over.

He is not a RFA or an URFA, he's just out of contract.

Not sure how some older members will feel with a player with this appearance running down the wing on the G?

Balic or Tucker I reckon for some outside run. Very confident we'll be able to get one of Curnow or Francis at 6 though.

Why would Gold Coast give us Prestia & Pick 3 for Picks 6 & 8? Unless you also meant to say we'll give them our 2016 1st rounder also?

These are the same people who said Karnezis would be star for them and provide some real x factor!

Nice to see the Day 4 trade wrap article on the AFL website thinks we'll cave and take Kennedy & a 2nd round pick. I still say we should tell Collingwood that the asking price for Howe will be Ben Reid (to go to Gold Coast) & Ben Kennedy but they'll get Pick 35 thrown back their way. Wonder if what Mahoney said is true and the Howe trade is done by the end of the week?

Best Pick they'll have will be 24 if they get that from St Kilda for Freeman.

If we're as keen on Parish as it seems we are, would the club back themselves in and trade Pick 6 and our 2016 1st Round Pick for Pick 3 and Gold Coast's 2016 2nd round pick, possibly also switching this years Pick 46 with their 35?

I get the feeling that Bugg & Kennedy are going to be wrapped up in a threeway trade with us, GWS and Collingwood that sends Bugg & Kennedy to us, Howe & Treloar to Collingwood and Picks to GWS.
