  1. No. We're at the mercy of whatever features the company who writes our forum software includes. To date they have not included a 'like' button. Personally, I'm hopeful they continue to not provide this feature, or at the very least, allow it to be disabled in future releases of the software.
  2. It was a poor effort no doubt, and it appeared on TV that Joel Macdonald rightfully told him what he thought about it after it happened. But that was 10 seconds of an otherwise excellent match from Morton, in both the effort and delivery stakes. We all know his weaknesses but it's clear to me that this is being worked on and that progress is being made, and you can't change the complete psychological makeup of a player overnight. It's time to cut the guy some slack.
  3. Hate you to think I'm stalking you BRFE, but I agree with this post too.
  4. If he stays then I don't think he's done his brand any damage at all.
  5. I'd rather have the job of being Osama Bin Laden's sacrificial wife than have the job Strauss had today with the kickins. "Here son, here's the ball. Your 17 team mates are all within 75 metres of you, they're all manned up on, and not a single one of them is actually moving. Good luck."
  6. Agreed, word for word.
  7. Thoroughly enjoyable second half.
  8. Thoroughly enjoyable first half. God I hate Travis Cloke.
  9. My position has always been to delist anyone who will never be best 22, and Warnock will no longer ever be best 22. He provided good enough service while our better talls developed (Frawley and Garland) and I hold a considerable amount of respect for him as a player because of that, but his purpose has been served. Any game he gets now is just holding back the development of a Troy Davis or Tom McDonald. Warnock right now is in the same position that I think Joel Macdonald will be in a year or two.
  10. Same here Jarka. It's crossed my mind to keep a list of every single person in this thread who has indirectly (or directly in some bizarre cases) called Tom a liar and name-and-shame them when Tom signs. Perhaps change all their user titles to "owes Scully an apology" until they do so one by one. But that would be an abuse of power In all serious though, it amazes me that some people actually seem to want him to be gone and cling to any rumour they can to back their possession. I just don't understand it.
  11. I think you should read t_u's next post as well.
  12. Karma for what? Karma for expanding? Damn that AFL, how dare they try and grow their game!
  13. Actually, people who know me IRL know me to be the sort of person who laughs at just about anything. It gets a bit boring when you read literally the same jokes every year though.
  14. Oh yes, the annual hilariously repetitive Dick jokes. How I've been hanging out for these.
  15. I think it would be a kick in the guts given how hard he works and how hard he goes, especially if he is dropped for Petterd who has been insipid. In general I like Petterd and still believe he can be a part of this team, but recently he's been poor and there's no way in my mind that he deserves Jetta's place.
  16. How do you guys find time to watch so much sport? It seems to be the same people participating in all the "other sports" threads. I barely get time to watch one game of AFL footy a week. If I could squeeze in a couple of others I reckon Baseball would be a fair way down my list.
  17. Must be some doubt over Bartram to be on the extended bench and not the 18. No change. If Bartram's good then he's in for Evans.
  18. To me this is no more or less worrying than all the other Scully speculation.
  19. What if your current company offered you $1.5m to stay?
  20. Funny, because I have a feeling that Scully won't sign until after the season, just as he keeps saying over, and over, and over again. I don't know why I have this feeling...
  21. It's less about isolated incidents of saying the f word, and more about the blokes whose faces turn purple as they spit out long sentences that are made up of >50% f and c words. Really, if you think being able to swear excessively and abuse players and umpires is crucial to the footy experience, then I think you need to grow up and get some perspective on life.
  22. Splitting hairs.
  23. By extension of this logic, it's therefor okay for me to hit my wife, after all, it's her fault for making me angry, right?
