  1. Maybe we've had it wrong all this time, and WYL is actually a genius visionary.
  2. Someone give me one reason why I should watch next week? Every time I take three hours out of my precious weekend, that's time with my family or time doing something productive that I'm not getting, and all I get out of it is frustration and disappointment. I watch footy for entertainment. The last two weeks have left me feeling so immensely bored that all it is becoming is a complete waste of time. I don't even want to watch the good teams play any more. I'm currently supporting this team out of obligation. I'm not sure how much longer I can hang on.
  3. This is thoroughly the most boring game of football I have ever watched.
  4. It's futile, PSD. Do yourself a favour and don't engage. I make the same mistake far too often.
  5. What statement would that be? Doesn't matter if you're not even close to being in the worst 5 players in the side, you're out if you're not meeting supporters' expectations?
  6. Lol, Byrnes? He's kicked 4 out of our team's 10 goals this season, and yesterday found himself in the absurd situation of being our forward target because Pedersen and Fitzpatrick couldn't get near it. Find a new whipping boy.
  7. Yeah, they developed Masten in to a really good player and dumped Morton after one season, what's your point?
  8. Strange comment. Michie in particular is now a 3 game player who had 10 possessions in his most recent one. There's plenty to like about him, but he's obviously borderline at the moment, so it's probably fair to assume that he might get omitted before the captain.
  9. 6. Tyson 5. Dunn 4. N Jones 3. Cross 2. Byrnes 1. Vince
  10. Nathan Jones made a handball (may have been to Matt Jones?) that went right over his teammate's head and straight to a West Coast player, which about 7 seconds later became a West Coast goal. Dom Tyson, despite being excellent overrall, made a couple of shockers as well. Dunn (who has been our best player YTD for mine) took a good mark on the half back flank and kicked it out on the full under no pressure at all. It irritates me a little that people seem to only see Grimes' mistakes and none of the other dozens. Just proves to me that people just see what they want to see. Our players are *all* making mistakes, and a lot of them at the moment, and that includes our very best players. Give Grimes a bloody break.
  11. Dunn forward makes a good plan 'B' and worked well today, but he's also a pretty important player coming out of our backline. I'm happy to leave him where he's playing his best footy.
  12. Thank goodness you're here, giving us more words to mark. Having WYL tell us that we're two years from extinction for the last 6 years has been nowhere near enough.
  13. Probably because Byrnes looked a bigger marking threat, and I say that with hand on heart. Fitz is a fairly decent sized worry at the moment.
  14. What game plan helps when Shannon Byrnes is your tall forward? Just about every time he appeared on camera, Glass was on him. I thought Byrnes was alright today, just for the record.
  15. I must have completely lost my marbles, because yet again I thought the scoreboard made it look worse than it was. I accept that I have probably gone certifiably insane as an emotional response, so you need not comment as such.
  16. You mean we're not last? After reading the post match discussion thread, I thought we'd lost by 250 points.
  17. olisik's been around a few years now and I *still* can't decide whether he's a troll or just stupid. If he's a troll, he's an excellent one.
  18. Surely the situation is not so dire that we need to poo ourselves and pick underdone players. Viney and Kent are basically without pre-seasons. Wait until they are ready.
  19. I know you cop plenty of criticism for this system, but this result makes it clear why - there were an obvious top three players as indicated by the votes (N.Jones, Watts and Dunn), but because the votes were chosen at random, the results are not reflective of this.
