Crossy has been excellent tonight.
-
The score sources they display occasionally is a nice stat that tells a story. Not surprisingly a large portion of North's score comes from turnovers.
-
Anyway, another pleasing quarter. Don't know why we're suddenly seeing fluid ball movement when it's been missing all year - we seem to be moving the ball quickly and well on the outside. Still enough skill errors to keep hearts in mouths, but I can suffer that. It's been good entertainment so far. Thought Matt Jones was excellent that quarter as well.

Came off injured. No word on what, but didn't look serious. Hammy or something.
-
Resting players or not, North are pretenders and should lose to Essendung in the EF. Come on boys, keep this up. Pleasing effort so far.
-
Agree. I take comfort in knowing they're just making up numbers. They're not in the same class as the sides in the top 5.
-
Need Sydney to beat them (tick) and Adelaide to beat St. Kilda (tick). If Gold Coast can roll West Coast then Richmond finish ninth, but you'd have to think West Coast will win.

You're surprised a thread titled "Karmichael Hunt leaves AFL" isn't a thread about recruiting him? Hrmmm.
-
Well done on what I'd call a pretty successful code switch. Israel Folau showed that it's not an easy thing. Watching him sink Richmond was one of my favourite moments in footy in the last few years: I think it's a good thing for our game to poach a Rugby player or two and hope to see it happen again in the future.

We're no chance at all. I don't normally like to be so negative, but good side + being their bitch + Etihad + stuffed team in awful form = grit our teeth and hope this doesn't hurt too much. And don't be fooled by the rested players: they will want to absolutely pulverize us in to dust. Thank god this is the last round.

Next person who calls Byrnes "Brynes" gets a ban. (Not serious - but please - can we *try* and spell the guy's name right?)
-
These trades have no basis in reality. They are all "trade our junk for a promising player" type deals. With the exception of the Fitzpatrick deal, they would all be laughed at.
-
I don't think McKenzie should be the benchmark used when assessing players.
-
Congratulations on your nomination for "Worst Post of the Year". Stiff competition as you'll be up against about half of hogans_heroes posts, but best of luck - this one is a doozie and you're a chance.

Ashton Hams rings a bell.
-
Don't know about *should* make it public, but I too wish they would.

Four years ago? Cripes. Players don't freeze in time - unlike opinions it would seem. He's kicked 10.4 this year.
-
I thought that was normal. Without the ability to delude myself that it'll all be good next year I'd have given up ages ago.
-
Other than Daniel Ward in 2007 I can't remember a player who was regularly a feature in the side being delisted. It would have surprised me if Terlich wasn't re-signed after playing 15 games (assuming he doesn't play this weekend). Surely people are overstating their surprise. Surely? I won't comment on those who reckoned Bail might be delisted.

I was wondering what the heck you were talking about there, until I realised who you were responding to.
-
And always does he run his guts out, even when his teammates aren't.
-
Disappointing but understandable.
-
I don't think hiring Misson was an experiment.
-
You're probably right in hindsight. I always struggle at these when we've been so outrageously crap.
-
He'll say they're not focusing on tactics. The same as he has said all year.
