I actually like this as a topic. The idea that we have too many similar type players is true... That's what happens when you can't spend the big bucks on rangey superstars like other clubs do. The idea that Viney gets squeezed out is nonsense though. Oliver is a similar type (slow, in and under) but he'd start in the middle of any club in the land. Viney's not at that level of course, but when he's not hurt (which hasn't happened in a couple of seasons) he's great at what he does. Yes it's true we need more run, better handball receive types... but that doesn't mean the extractors don't have a place, and Jack's one of our best.

I love the under. These two defenses are absolutely superb.

Forgot to put picks in AGAIN. Damn fine work 49ers and Chiefs. I reckon aside from the Ravens, the right teams got there in the end. Hats off to Titans too. Did amaing things with not so much to work with.

Not as good as Wentz.

Yeah it's a pretty good set up. If they're taking on Seattle who are spluttering and have Penny and Carson out, even with Lynch, Eagles Run D could make a mess of them. And playing at the Linc where they just smashed one of the better offenses in football. I like it. I don't think they beat San Fran or Saints tho. That would be one of the games of the year right there.

Would be oh-so-2019-Eagles wouldn't it. I still don't think I'll wake up to watch a playoff if the Eagles are in it. But that's important for Carson. To do it wit an entire team of guys they grabbed off the street, with his line banged up and Pro-Bowl TE with bashed ribs. Important for his confidence, and important to show he can do it like the big-time guys have with a rotating list of Wide Receivers.

Super game. 49ers have given us so much fun to watch this year.

I feel that way about a number of 49ers games this year. How about this clusterF they're calling Monday Night football?

Really good game from Rams. Really good defense and Wilson the almost MVP.

Here's hoping all my Rams love the past couple of years gives me some cred with the football gods.

Ravens, Steelers, 49ers

Yeah. Cos Cowboys lost... It's hard to get excited for though. Just knowing how it's just not a good squad. I've been gushing over the 49ers, Saints, Pats, Ravens and others all year. Just haven't seen a big time performance in even one game yet from the Eagles, even in one they've won. Just got past Packers, and beat Bills probably the only ones.

lol Yeah that's true. I think Cowboys, if they do improve, stand the best chance of doing damage. Eagles were dogs in every playoff they won the superbowl in. lol Please... Wentz was in the MVP race before they won the superbowl. Not one serious football fan has Foles as a better player than Wentz. Before his line and receivers got decimated recently (could happen to anyone) he was in the top 10 QBs on most estimates. Oh and in case you didn't notice, he threw 3 TDs, had 310 yards and only gave away the pick in the end on a hail Mary... still had 93 QB rating. They lost cos of their deplorable secondary. Not Wentz. But sure... you go ahead and pick the guy who just got benched by the Jags for a Rookie.

I think what I mean is there's no way they beat 49ers, Vikings, Pack or Seattle. So what's the point. I realise winning your division is a feather in a team's cap, but this team is broken down and old. It needs a refurb. They just got beaten by Miami. MIAMI. At least the boys lost to an 8-3 team.

Chargers again find a new way to lose.
