  1. Rumours spread by Tippert's manager most probably.
  2. Interesting as to where i was wrong.........
  3. The article appears to leave the door open if anything
  4. Cloke's replacement ? Seriously...about the only hypothetical you'd entertain might be if Swans all but gift him and pay the chunk of his money for 2 years. You'd only take him for 2 years. Still prefer to pass
  5. Adams....not very bright. Not the sharpest tool but a tool none the less. Am sure someone will eventually tell him to stfu....might be one of them....or a few of ours
  6. Id fully expect a few lads to give Spencil a chop out here and there...but not having to take the brunt of the load will benefit our style immensely.
  7. Not so much to Journalists ( real ones ) ...just the hack pretenders !!
  8. Spencil in restores us somewhat to a 'normal' team. We don't need to play "understudy" style. This will keep the Wobblies more than honest. Tbh I suspect Buckley would worry as much if not more that we have a real ruck than Hogan at FF. Spencil also allows our forward line to shuffle back to how we prefer to set up. We spend a whole preseason drilling players into a style which had rucks as part of it.. We've had to play a different version which works as often as it doesnt ( especially the 1st qtr )
  9. There's surely a confliction for many, myself included. In form he's a really good player. Adds a dynamic to the midfield thats missing. Reality is he's an example of 'PATCH-UP" footy. If you have to wrap up players in something just in case an EXISTING medical predisposition is exasperated then this isn't clever management. I'd love to see Gus back and firing. I'd be mortified to see him permanently disabled through something that's avoidable. Gus. Go live your life...there's more than footy.
  10. Fasolo : Id be astounded...but not surprised. I mean...Depression to the point of taking a back step.."here fella take a pill" weeks later good to go?? That just plays with my head. Surely not. Hogan: Just sense there's an element of foxing here.. but don't expect him to play. The midgame is about worrying the Filth into a reactive selection...Jumping at shadows
  11. I have a strange visualisation of an old codger attired salubriously , pajamas wrapped in silk morning dressing gown, argyle slippers. Bifocals adjusted to take in the home delivered news-sheet. English breakfast steeping whilst a pair of 4 min eggs awaits digestion before kippers. Never been the same since the Raj fell ...eh what !!
  12. DD. My only real reservation is to where he is NOW.. At one time he was more than handy but he seems that player that has a good spell and them dines off of it for ever more til no one wants to shout the beers. He's ALREADY passed his used by date imho. He just goes through the motions. He doesnt seem to have his head in games. I think many of his fellow swannies have twigged to this . I understand where your argument comes from in so much as ...an experienced KP player..tall mobile yadda yadda etc.. Another experienced hand out there is actually ideal. I agree. Not him though. He's cooked now , let alone three years hence. Shame in a fashion
  13. Ah the fun and games. Go Dees
  14. Dont really have a decent news source anymore. Is all rubbish, or agenda driven, or both.
  15. The Aged.... disappearing up its own clacker.
  16. Well.... .... Might have been a fair few in the queue
  17. FD might be Recruitment will be looking past that
  18. The way a lot of contracts run i don't know cap space will factor for 2-3 years. Theres a window to get 'filler' types as FA etc for the interim. Interesting times await at end of season.
  19. Thought Spencil had a bit of a tank ?
  20. So in essence... there's no doubt ?
