G'day ET! Nah I still lurk now and then but drifted off doing other stuff. But I had to post corpse Fritsch. I'm enjoying our footy atm so I'll be around more.

It was 3-0 inside 15 mins last night against Liverpool.
Came back in the second half and levelled in the 93rd, only to concede the winner a minute later.
The most spursy thing ever.
Anyway, I hope @Deestroy Allenjoyed it - missed you mate, great to see you back on the boards.
Thanks GV! Haha so Spursy.
I said to myself when Richarlison came on, here we go, of course he’ll score against us. Sure enough…
Thank f… for Jota, and that it’s spurs.
Wild match that was!

This is the first full thread I’ve read through in months. Lol what a journey.
old55 never came back with his black metal verdict. Anyone checked on him?
Back to the user names thing, @Ethan Tremblay’s short stint as GingerGuitar still makes me chortle once a week.

I’ve seen my favourite band, Sigur Rós, six times. Three regular shows in three consecutive years, twice at festivals and then the world premiere of their music documentary, “Heima” followed by a Q&A.
I had a ticket to see them in August this year but chose to go to our Round 22 match (vs Carlton) instead. I bought the concert tickets not knowing there’d be a clash (thanks floating fixture!) but don’t regret blowing off the concert since remember how that match ended???😁
I love Sigur Ros too, have never seen them live for various reasons and it annoys me.
I’d choose them over anything involving Carlton, but I haven’t seen em 6 times.16 hours ago, Dr. Gonzo said:I've seen Tool at least half a dozen times (I've actually lost count) although unfortunately I missed out on tickets for the Aenima tour ☹️
Rage are one of the few bands left I still haven't seen live - was 5th in line for tickets when they came out around 2007 and played Festival Hall I think and tickets sold out after the 2nd person. I can't remember if they played Big Day Out but I didn't go.
Would also love to see Metallica and Guns n Roses live but I am extremely hesitant to pay hundreds of dollars for a gig at a footy oval. I just can't imagine it would be any good. I had level 2 tickets at Docklands to see Metallica in 2019 I think but Hetfield went into rehab so the tour was cancelled
I saw Sabbath when they came out in 2013 and had a blast, it sucked when they played songs from the new album they were promoting but when the sirens started blaring for War Pigs at the start of the gig my god!
A couple of other great gigs I've been to are Cypress Hill at Metro and also at Festival Hall, Electric Wizard at the Green Room (Supercoven & Return Trip were immense), Tomahawk/Fantomas/Melvins at The Palace, Melvin's playing Houdini live at Ding Dong Lounge and Nine Inch Nails at the BDO.
Would love to see Run The Jewels as well if they toured with Rage would be awesome but not sure that's gonna happen any time soon.
I was at that Sabbath gig too, War Pigs was instant tingles.
I went to that Rage gig at Festival Hall, it was so good. One of the best gigs I’ve been to was Beastie Boys at Festival Hall, so much fun, absolute showmen. Encore on a pop up stage at the back where I was.
Mars Volta put on a ripping show there too. So many good memories there, Faith No More, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Mastodon, Soundgaden… Tenacious D was funny as [censored].
Isn’t it some sort of religious hell hole now?I’ve seen Tool half a dozen times too. Each time as good as the last. My favourite band by a long way. Deftones about half a dozen too all over Melbourne. Met them a few times.
Metallica were great on a revolving stage at Rod Laver.
Gunners were mediocre.
I miss live music.

Shai Bolton has to be the most overrated player I’ve seen in a long time.
Dines out on goal and mark of the week.
Goes missing more than kids in the 80s.-

Found some stuff we both like, Dr. G! The bolded bands I’ve seen live (I saw Tool live twice in the space of eight months since they toured Aus frequently like all bands should, but don’t)
I saw Tool twice in 24 hours. Life peaked.
I’ve also sean Rage and Sabbath from the above lot. Would love to see Run the Jewels.
which band have you seen the most?

Can't handle opposite views old dazzle. He only scores goals when it's down his throat. System player for a team that chips it around. He wouldn't be any good in our system of bombing it long and locking it in. Back to the blocklist. Can't understand why you came off it
Down his throat? Come on, you’re coming across as someone who’s never seen him play for more than five minutes.
He launches at everything and often plucks it when he has no right to.
A fair chunk of this seasons goals have come from crumbing, quite a few on his opposite foot.
His biggest knock is set shot accuracy. Again he’s 22 and improving.
Every single team in the comp would pay overs to get him.

This new Geelong attacking gameplan is really frightening.

Great thread.
Clicked into gear in the finals and I think has gotten even better.
Just seems so controlled in all aspects of his game. Instinctive gives, smooth kicks to advantage, slotting goals when he gets a shot, less reckless at the man and rarely if ever caught holding the ball this season.
A joy to watch.
He seems so zippy too. So happy for him and all of us. I thought his foot was cactus.

Played out the game, no strapping and carried Tmac off the ground on his shoulders after the game.
All signs indicate this is hopefully just a precaution and its minor. He might have woken up sore this morning.
Brodie Grundy played his best quarter in 18 months after doing his. Now he’s missing 10 weeks.
Not saying it’ll be that bad but looks can be deceiving + mfcss = never play again.

Does Dermott watch football or just waffle on.
He just said Max King needs to be a match winner to take the next step “kick 3 in a quarter when the game is on the line”
He just did against Freo and Richmond.
