So I got home just after 12:30 this morning, so will be one of the few times (if ever again) I bother doing a Thursday game, but I had today off work so wasn’t too bad. The music/flashing lights wasn’t as annoying as I remember (have they turned it down or am I getting more deaf 😂) Beer is horribly over priced at $12 for a mid strength but at least it’s pirate life and not Carlton draught or VB. Only vegetarian options were a pastie and hot chips, no where else I saw had anything different but I may have missed it. Lower costs will help, less crap across the speakers would also be good but I still hate Thursday and Monday games (not PH games of course)

Nine tackles is the big one for me. That’s insane numbers for anyone let alone a young ruckmen.

Went last night with two lions and a cats supporter and half way through the game the cats supporter said to me “Viney is bullying them, they can’t stop him and he is attacking them with or without the ball.” he was right.

I honestly think we won’t be breaking the bank over Jackson. They would be making an offer with Brayshaw and Oliver in mind plus others coming OOC over the next few years.

Wouldn’t hurt if they kicked more goals during games either. I miss the old one on ones during games, I know they are long gone but hell I use to watch Roos vs Eagles just for Carey vs Jackovich

This is even worse, Pink Lady should always be a Saturday night. You get people who want to be a part of the night even if they don’t care for either team. It’s a more worthy cause than most in the AFL and the AFL are shafting it. Being a Thursday 95% of those who would think to go on a Saturday night will not go to the Thursday game. The AFL are so cooked that meth heads look down on them.

So the media have vaguely said without saying it that he is off his face, there was also supposedly footage of him harassing a woman which might have shown him attempting to grope a lady (not sure, thought I read it but haven’t watched any of the videos), it’s more the fact that they don’t think he should be in a situation that could bring him and his club down. And jeopardise a contract he could get. But the AFL can target drug test him if they want, the club could stop him going, but they haven’t and that’s their call. I hope that if he does anything dumb or harmful it is to none but himself.

Similar, I get up at 4:45 and live 2 hours from the ground. But I have the Friday off as my RDO so I’m going, but it’s the worst.

For me moving Gus back to the wing or even get Salem in the mid/wing who can hit a target would help.

The day you care what a filth supporter thinks is a sad day. They are so far below us you should already know their ability to make any sound that’s coherent is very very limited.

Add Harmes and Sparrow who both spend time there and haven’t done well but Spargo is normally there for kicks into 50 and pressure more than goals I reckon. Nibbler fumbled so much today it was laughable, Harmes not much better and sparrow wasn’t far off it either.

So when we supposedly did the training laid last year what rounds were they? And did we drop off that badly?

Look at who we play after the bye, I’m confident if one win. The crows. Lets get Goodwin back punting and on the beers, our clearance work is shot. Harmes, Sparrow and Nibbler fumble more than baby with a bar of soap. We can’t handle the pressure, we play slow long dumb football. Can’t run out games, it’s like we are unfit. We sit off teams and watch them waltz it through our structure (and that never changes, so we are cooked there) Hope no one got back to back tattoos…

Brown out. Rivs in and Brayshaw to the wing or Bedford/Chandler play. We are too tall and dump kick with no thought.

Game over folks. Another putrid effort. If the coaches don’t get better at selection and how to hit a target and not to plop their pants when pressure comes we might just do a North and lose 10 in a row after winning 10.
