All four were set shots, the five I kicked were snaps or on the run. I use to be a decent set shot early on but lost it around second year 16's when I stopped growing and went from FF to HBF/RR.

I kicked 5 from the hbf vs bayswater in the u18s. Kicked 5.4 for the game. 4 points came when I was playing ruck rover.

We released Foles.

When Jason Dunstall says we dont practise goal kicking enough, then we dont. He was the best at it in my books.

The perfect example was viney a few weeks ago. Got the tap from a centre square broke clear. Did he kick it to tge forwards... no, he handballed it to Jones who was running behind him and under more pressure. There was no one in front of him, im tipping the forwards would have loved a quick kick to them. This has occured all year and we would be a better team if we did not do this as much as we do. Around the ground we handball so much we actually get ourselves into worse positions. Handballing is great if it gets you out of trouble. We use to to transfer the trouble to some one else.

I am seeing them for what they are. Either a bad decision that I noticed very early in the year or a game plan where when on the quick centre break we are more likely to handball it twice rather than give our forwards a quick entry. Where we woukd rather handball to a teamate one meter away instead of a better option. Its not doom and gloom. Far from it. Just a criticism that in my eyes is warranted. So many on here get so defensive when you have an opinion. Anyway enjoy your holiday, may it be full of peace, love and mung beans.

The worst times are out of a centre bounce situation. So often we handball it two-three times when it's just not the right option.

Not bother travelling to games for the rest of the year.

I'd be half inclined to leave the team as is and let them make amends.

It's not "the kick it" people. Its the peoples front of "kick the ball instead of over using it and causing the forwards to be out of position or turn it over with over use." Of course there is times to run and handball. But we over do it time and time again. Running out of a centre clearance with no one near tgey will still look to handball to each other. The Hawks and other good teams get it ling to tgeir forwards in a one on one. I bet Hogan would prefer it.

On a positive, Petracca will be a game breaker. He is a cut above.

When you dominate a quarter like we did in the third, and don't kick goals from decent set shot chances you probably do not win games.

We have a team full of players who love to over handball in situations where a kick is the much better option. At first I thought this may just be the players panicking, but no, this has kept occurring week after week after week. We obviously have the dumbest game plan where we would rather handball three times when streaming out of the centre until all the forwards have led and by the time they have stopped stuffing around with it (if we haven't turned it over or handball end at each other's feet) and actually want to kick it, there is no decent forward open. Bloody sick and tired of seeing this. The coaches surely have to see this stupidity and rectify it, but they haven't yet and I don't believe they will. We will continue to lose games but putting ourselves in where we invite the pressure upon ourselves. The best teams do not stuff around with it as much as we do.

Once again over handballing costs us a game. That and bad set shot kicking.

Dominate the quarter and we are now behind. Terrible set shots and dumb decision making by players wanting to over use the fucken ball. We will lose this unless we get smart.

ONCE AGAIN A STUPID BLOODY HANDBALL!!!!! its a turn over, you don't handball to a ruckman or any player under pressure when a long kick hits the square. They are so so so so [censored] dumb. Now it's costing us a goal.
