It’s like the general public feel that because this country did so well compared to Europe, UK etc that we’re just safe as houses now and barring the odd cluster or hotspot here and there we’ll be fine. If nothing else this is a huge wake up call that this thing can come from anywhere. Even if protocols are followed to the letter.

I’ve been in the game day thread a lot this year and while it can get a bit negative I can’t say I’ve seen anyone say any of those lines once this year. I don’t like to get bogged down in negativity either but I don’t think people critiquing our performance during a game or venting their frustrations should be labelled bad fans or bad people.

If anyone can champion the cause it’s Demonland.

This is the best all round ‘not me but we’ team I think we’ve had and without a doubt the best backline I’ve ever seen from us. I know it wasn’t an option but the 94 team remains the most talented list we’ve had in my time watching. But in terms of talent, system, flexibility I’m definitely thinking this might be making a case for best across the board.

I don’t think anyone is an automatic inclusion. Except when it’s Jack Viney.

I don't necessarily not like the thread, I'm just wanting a bit more than our day in the sunshine where a few wins made us feel good about ourselves. Am I enjoying watching us right now? Absolutely. Do I think this is the best team we've had in a while? Absolutely.
