Yep. I don't see him as a no.1 KPF but he could end up being a very nice no.2. Hardly a contested marking beast but not bad, does have nice forward craft and penetrating kick. The Swans midfield movement and entries very much suit his style and he suits theirs. I'd enquire but not sold on him being the missing piece.

You're right. As bad as the situation seems we really have to embrace the potential positives to come out of it. One door closes another opens or some cliché line like that. Rivers has been thrown the keys and I for one am excited about an extended run through the middle. No doubt we'll see a lot more experiments in there, we lose a star but it's time to make a new one. Doesn't matter how well you wrote this post, there will always be people on here who only want to read what THEY WANT TO READ. The facepalm reactions usually reveal their identities and often they don't belong in public or any kind of social setting. They usually have no friends and find coming on a forum like this the easiest thing to do from under their rock or echo chamber. A person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still and the sooner we learn to live and let live, the better.

Nothing wrong with giving a shout out to a good local brand that supports Australian made and keeping jobs here. 10 years of support in this day and age of AFL sponsorship is something to be proud of 😀

I think you're right, from here on out the midfield is going to look a lot different to how we know it. As will their individual roles. Risks will be taken and when they pay off we'll see masterstrokes like Rivers through the middle. Plenty to play for and plenty of potential silver linings to come out of the setbacks.

Maybe it's a sign that we've been a pretty good football team for a while? 🤪
