  1. Tassie were 5-18!!!! Cool, what did they make all up?? The Vics better not Pillow in the Final, there has been too much of that over the last few years.
  2. S.K.Warne sure rates him Highly so he should be given a crack for sure. We need new Blood.
  3. I'm with you T.U, at 5 down we were GAWN!! The coffin was slowly re opened and excavated from the ground, Go the vics-with half a side we can still win. Fingers crossed.
  4. How depressing..that little [censored] back in the spot light...it's just wrong.
  5. 2 Pakistani cricketers under investigation for Match Fixing the recent Sydney Test Match. This could be a massive story...Cricket is in trouble sadly.
  6. He was on the decline by then!!! i gotta look up Charles on Wiki-that is a sad Tale!
  7. I hope that wasn't against Bangladesh as well!! Haydos had the Creds, but poor old Charles...
  8. Cripes How could you hit 194 in a single innings and lose to Bangladesh? That would be enough to bring forth the dreaded Grog Monster onto your career. No wonder we haven't heard of charles!!
  9. Poor old Charles would be shattered!!!!
  10. Brilliant, he did it against a class attack. Even Better.
  11. Against who, is it in india? they would be going right off if it's at home!
  12. what a Cricket machine he is...absolutely amazing. if anything bad ever happens to sachin, india will stop existing. They must make the IPL so safe...it worries me greatly after last year.
  13. Wow, that must be a wet spongy wicket!!! 2 more scalps tomorrow....
  14. Sadly that was the most lifeless and Dull summer of cricket (international) i have ever seen. For the first time ever i am glad it's over. I hope it is just a blip on the Radar & not a long term decline in interest. Interesting times ahead for the Bat & Ball.
  15. yes a very young Colin....!
  16. Yes, i was stoked. 12 more games against lower clubs. The Gunners are still just in there. Yes we were lucky, but we were stiff against chelsea (played well but just couldn't crack it) so i will take today..
  17. I agree far to many ODI's that are forgotten the day after. But the indians love them so they are played at every chance. I actually really like ODI's with 2 top sides, so i hope they do not phase them out. T20's are ok but to me its like cricket on speed-but its great to see young kids at the ground Pumped up. and if it gets them interested in test cricket-awesome. Next summer will tell a lot...India & England out here. 7 ODI's against each country (i think) personally i would prefer the triangular format with those sides. I heard stephen Gough on SEN this arvo talking about it from the MCC point of view..worth a listen if the podcast is there.
  18. This summers Cricket Schedule has been the worst i can remember, Australia have done well to keep winning, i will give them that. But imagine if Melbourne played Richmond & the Kangaroos for an entire season. That too would get dull & extremely repetitive. So i don't think crowd numbers are so much a reflection of the game formats as to more who is playing. Pakistan are a Rabble with some talent, & the Windies were on strike weeks before they arrived here, so we should beat them. I don't think the Triangle series should have been stopped either, it wasn't perfect but at least it had a Prize at the end. The current ODI format means nothing at all sadly.
  19. Sorry i just got home i didnt realize hussey had been picked. Game on.
  20. Of Course David Hussey has played the MCG all summer but it seems to make little difference to the selectors.
  21. Pathetic isn't it. Plus he has a chronic Back injury. Young Pup can do no wrong- he is a chosen one obviously Still have my doubts on his captaincy potential full stop. He is a pretty boy who can play, but captain hmmmmmm...
  22. Roger Federer what a magnificent champion he is Murray pushed him at times...but Roger is all class on & off the court.
  23. He is the main owner of an investment bank. Another credit squeeze (a real one, not like last years Blip) could see him lose a lot of that wealth very quickly. That i do know having followed the futures markets over the past few years. Anyway HT do you know if there is a website where i can stream Tomorrow mornings game? That is far more important than the on going survival of Young Roman the Ruski.
  24. Who cares where he is from. Multi Billionares all drink from the same Trough. They all know each other to some degree. These EPL clubs who sold out to private owners are going to be on shaky ground in years to come if they do not have good back up plans. Man City are a good example-money to burn but they still don't threaten the top rungs yet That situation cannot continue as it is for long.
