  1. well the fact that many people don't engage directly in social exchanges with the club on any or every issue they are not happy with doesn't mean they are content or approving. same with, say, demonstrations . people are just different in how they wish to engage, but because some don't email doesn't necessarily equate to tacit agreement of status quo. we probably agree on that too
  2. no one is saying it's a life or death issue, nor a really big issue you are apathetic and you claim most others are too, that's fine it's just your opinion
  3. how do you know this, billy the 98 is only a sample, but it still represents 78% of the total and you just dismiss it out of hand with no other evidence to back up your fantasy claims but, carry on
  4. think evolution has caused the extinction of that gene, md
  5. this is so true. watching on tv is so much easier (in terms of identifying players and teams) than if you were at the ground this argument is pure bulltish. it might have had some validity a loooong time ago
  6. my god, wyl. he had a great run there for a while '48 - '64. all the best for a full recovery.
  7. they have lots of acolytes to help them too, bub. that photo collection must be fascinating
  8. might have troubles finding the dosh to pay one. his last lawyer on the ch9 case walked on him and guess what.......he represented himself!
  9. why stop there, od. that sort of thinking could even get you to be a president............
  10. not sure what you are telling us, mm just because something bad could have been even badder is not much consolation
  11. no reason he can't walk and chew gum at the same time, gv obviously, it's not one of the big issues but that shouldn't be a reason to do nothing. the afl is not going to come down on him like a ton of bricks if he brings it up as an issue
  12. you should try and get him down at the gat, biffo. he could probably do a whole season there and you could clean up too
  13. our stephen does a lot of blustering, threatening and promising, but when things get to the pointy end he just disappears like a puff of smoke. then pops up at his next footy pie night to pick up a nice purse and offer a bit of salacious condemnation of all and sundry. surprisingly he is very popular at such high brow events. much like the table-top strippers who complete the show
  14. so was HIS court action against ch9. didn't turn up to three consecutive hearings. judge dismissed case.
  15. agree with most of that, but the "it is serious crime he has committed" is a bit of hyperbole
  16. yeah, it sells well it gets its own total on the annual report p&l table
  17. none of those things you bring up are individual awards bestowed by the sporting competion
  18. no mandy, i don't think so. when people start putting money first, they end up wanting more and more and never get enough no, we need to find a new saty
  19. i find that difficult to believe judged on the number of standard jumpers i see at games and elsewhere. maybe people buy their standard jumpers elsewhere
  20. it's unlikely it's all completed yet. be interested to see next year's figures
