Brutal...
-
Wow, just switch it on at the end of the first. How can he step off the mark for the kick after the siren? Is that now also a "natural" arc? Thats a joke by the umpires and a joke the player can't kick a drop punt or even a check side through from there. Don's are woeful. We'll be playing Pie's week 1 of the finals. Maybe the bomber's can pull their finger out after qtr time and apply some old fashion pressure. lastly, I bet the AFL and 7 is loving this picture for a Friday night, how many have already turned it off. Time to give the bombers, the graveyard slot for next season.

If all goes to plan, the top 4 will all win and we play the pies week 1 at the G. Makes tonights game really interesting. I can't see pies not putting in 100% as they will be trying to get some of the "premiership" form back :).

It will suit us more than going to Brizzie. We can still finish somewhere between 2 and 4, if port loses today. If they won, most likely 4th, Lions should beat saints at the Gabba, locking in 2nd.
-
Simpson, apparently they were about or going to sack him. Then he wins, almost spiteful to take away pick 1 with the win. Dog's are unbelievable.

Do they put it on the goal umpire, total farce has robbed crowd the chance of finals https://www.afl.com.au/news/1013704/this-was-a-mistake-afl-ceo-gillon-mclachlan-backs-review-system-crows-loss-stands-after-wrong-decision

So [censored] at the crows, they had that, they suddenly could kick a goal, then not focussed no that last point. They ruined my tipping :)

Great news. -
I think the home match data is more important. What was the club goal for average home game crowds in the strategic plan. Does this show us again of being one of the “Big four” Or five clubs in the AFL? :)

Has our form been overstated?

Blues are playing their best footy and they were good. It was that 5 minutes in the 4th where we let them kick 3 quick ones that separated the two sides. That was the difference across the whole game. We almost got it back and slightly straighter kicking we would have had it. But we didn't. -
Yeah I though at the time it was the wrong decision from what I could see on TV, given it was just 6v6 in the fwd line.
-
Despite all his attributes he brings to the game. He doesn’t fit into our current structure when you compare to the alternate forwards, we really missed petty last night and Grundy is not even close as a forward.
-
That would be good for him. Maybe help us out indirectly
-
He s player that will push himself for the team, been highlighted a few times on On The Couch, but isn't consistently been best 22 in the eyes of the blues.
-
Just finished watching the game. Should I read the first war and a bit on the gamely thread. I imagine it was pretty raw. North was good at the start but ran out of legs.

Good to see the hawks responding!

Yep! :)

Have the pies fallen in a hole after such an continuous high intensity year

Lots of upsets already this weekend, go GC -
Will port fold?
-
The payout figure on his contract to do it this year is about $3m and that comes out of the softsap, if they did that, think of how many support staff they'll lose.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Were any of those academy players originally from our zone before the change by the AFL? -
A potentially great player for the club, but best in 1 position that is really crowded at the moment. I know we want to keep him, but is it the best thing for his personal career. At this stage I would say no. Being out of contract I dont know if we would get his real value if he decides to leave.
