IMO I wouldn't delist someone like Tynan who is still young and developing, same for Taggert. Flash, Joel Mac and Rodan have retired. I would delist/trade Jetta, Gillies, Byrnes, Bail, Sellar if you keep Pedersen, Tapscott, Nicholson, Jamar and Strauss. I would keep Blease and develop him. I would give Davis another year unless you were offered a trade. That is 12 players, that is a big turnover on the senior list. Rookies Magner and Couch are probably also gone.

I also get the feeling that a few of the clubs are blustering to appease their supporters, while privately they acknowledge the need for the Dees to improve quickly on the field.Remember this is all about money. The AFL is all about money. AD gets more money as well the more the AFL makes. Clubs get more money for bigger attendances and an interested TV viewing audience. The TV fees rely on interesting games. As I posted elsewhere just ask James Brayshaw who has been publicly outspoken against us one simple question," next time we play North as their home match, does he want a big or small crowd". IMO we have two players with sublime ball skills. Sorry one, the other one just retired. While JW has deficiencies he has some attributes that few others do. He can actually kick a ball to a target. He will develop physically and under a new coach this 195cm, quick player with great skills could develop into a very good player for us. Lets test our development and show some faith in the new FD to improve this bloke, he really could be anything.

Roos still playing a straight bat. Seems as though he is keen to have any announcement after the B&F. Said he thought B&F was about this year not the next. I think he will do what the club prefers. If they want to announce it thursday and he has signed, then it will be thursday. Noticed on OTC when Sheahan laughed and then realized he may be on camera and stopped, looking embarrassed.
