It is amazing. We probably have the highest percentage of masochists of any AFL club. We would probably figure high on the false optimism table as well. Anyway it is fantastic that they can get so many to a function after finishing 2nd last.

I also smell some trouble between Carlisle and the Bombers FD. I would have a go at him as well. Even if he is one of the 34 he would be a great get, a versatile tall who can play both ends.

This could probably go on the drafting thread, but given Mitchell's dropping from the Swans side, after a great game last week, the time could be opportune to get into his ear, or at least his manager's, if we haven't already.

Just watched Barrett do his report on the Footy Show. I am sure he actually makes half of his stuff up. The way they fawn over him on the show makes you want to puke. They treat him as if he is a Pulitzer Prize winner.

No but we have a 3 time B & F in Jones. Averaged 28 possies per game and played every one. Worth a place in a 40 man squad I would have thought. If he played for a big club he would be in, I am sure of it. We are just insignificant and overlooked.

It shouldn't affect individuals. Saints got Rising Stars and guys in the AA squad.

Can't believe Jones couldn't make the AA squad of 40. No rising star weekly winner. Our club just has no impact.
