Don't forget that Hawkins is not suffering the extra pressure of #1..... I like your idea of asking him to do a disciplined act and look after a man off the HBF - lay a big tackle and harass an opponent so much that he cops a whack on the moosh (just like Jordie did on Sat night) Jack must now help Jack.

I don't think it's all about statistics - I think it's about application. I've seen the look and determination in his face to do well, but I think he's frustrated by his body size. We're all waiting, we know he's on an individual program and such.....but at some stage, Jack has to draw a line in the sand.

Okay, but what about his attack on the footy? Saturday night's conditions weren't good, but I agree, he can butcher the ball. But! I love him!

Hate both teams - Swannies because of their association with Paul Roos. -
Fair chunk of a lad - already at 91 kays.... Sounds good, but.....I reckon it'll be mids, mids and more mids

JM, DD36 is a passionate Dees supporter who's seen a tough era of Melbourne footballers go through and gets disappointed by Watts' efforts. The kid tip-toes to a contest and is loathe to compete - that will always be his downfall. I hope he puts on some serious weight and muscle.

Won't drop the skipper.
-
I watched him closely last night and he's still a touch undisciplined (you might say that about the entire team!) Two or three times he failed to run back hard to fill a hole in the opposition's forward line - he watched the kicks go over his head. His delisting should have been a wake up call. I'm not sure about this player.......
-
Can't kick. Terrible under pressure. Turn-over king. Undisciplined. No presence. Butchers the ball. Worse than Setanta.
-
No point having him as a big target when all the Saints defenders knew what was happening and made clearance after clearance.

Time to blood another tall youngster - Fitzpatrick maybe? Stef Martin doesn't cut it.
-
Oh, for sure - but I wonder whether Neeld should've asked for a big effort from Jamar and brought Sylvia on for Sellar?
-
Fair enough - for me, there are so many 'unfooty' things Stef does, even after being on the list for five or so years.
-
I saw that too, DD. I think those days are over. Neeld wants defence and stoppages and bruise - full footy. Plenty of ice packs after the game.
-
Sellar was terrible, but Stef Martin would be a step backwards. Time to blood another youngster. Jack Watts looked so relieved he survived his first real physical clash - terrible wet weather footballer. Grimes was sensational - so gutsy and ferocious. I'm drenched and a bit cold, but I loved being out there tonight watching my team scrap and scrap and scrap. Keep it up, boys.

C'mon - fess up! Clarke bowling well on a really turning howler....

Chatting to a Tiges supporter who has a man crush on Dustin, but...............he went on to say that the boy lives with the Richmond president to keep him on a tight rein. Don't shoot the poster....this was a chat.

I thought that might be case - Clark is a leader in our forward line. I really hope he plays this week.
