  1. Fair enough, but surely Bailey would have told him, Neeld would have told him, Viney would have told him, Craig would have told him....you get my drift. Players like Blease need to go back into Casey with specific instructions to improve, otherwise, see ya later!
  2. He just doesn't look. There are leads going on everywhere, but he refuses to lower his eyes.
  3. No, you're right - he didn't impose himself, scrag, or fight for his territory. I've never advocated for a 'messiah' coach as you've inaccurately purported. I do, however, malign our playing list and I think that Howe should stay. I'd trade Jamar (has value) Blease and Watts.
  4. Yet you said the Geelong game was okay? I thought that the coaching on that day was very poor. At the end of the day, the list needs (another) rebuild.
  5. Poor Swallow. Put your feet up for a year, son. All the best with your recovery.
  6. I know, I know. I've got a headache and I'm getting all sentimental again, trying to find hope.
  7. I watched this boy yesterday closely (admittedly through amber cam) but he is very much in every team's radar - he was pummelled, blocked, whacked and smacked from pillar to post and should've received 5 or 6 free kicks. He is young and will become fantastic - needs to lift his fitness levels to elite.
  8. Neil Craig on AFL Game day. 'Whoever takes over will inherit a group that want to be good and will be up for the fight.' I sincerely hope so. 'Melbourne supporters should have a picture in their head about Chris Dawes, Mitch Clark, and a young guy called Jesse Hogan who's playing in the VFL'... Maxwell interrupts with 'Looks handy?' Craig replies...'you'll enjoy standing him, Nick', with a wry grin on his face. At this stage, this is the only thing I'm looking forward to in 2014.
  9. Serious? Sunday morning joke? No disrespect AD, but we're miles off!!!
  10. Davey has seduced so many for too long. His time is up. But, there are so many, that to single him out would be unfair. Our drafting has been rubbish. Yesterday, Fitzroy played North Melbourne. This could well be the end. Put Watts on the trade table.
  11. Nup. Gone. Clean sweep. Neeld was sacked, time to bring in a new team. Start with trying to grab Ling, Bolton (potentially his last year) and headhunt Brett Kirk. Minimum starting point.
  12. Did he get a Gatorade shower?
  13. Oops. Of course not.
  14. I'd put Chip away for the year. Hammy problems on three separate occasions this year. Rest Nate Jones. Several boys from Casey need to play 4 or 5 games before the year is out.
  15. Dunn played well today. Many pot this bloke. Lindsay Thomas is a better actor than my avatar, sook, sulk and whinger.
  16. The beer was poured to the top! Three cheers for the bar staff at Etihad!
  17. Just replying to the rose coloured visionaries on here. Not a Craig fan. What's wrong with that?
  18. You lost me right there, t_u.
  19. Something else that has really annoyed me has been this talk about players walking. Last year, Howe signed for 3 more years: under Neeld Blease signed: under Neeld Clark signed: under Neeld Dawes signed: under Neeld Sylvia and Watts, you say? Watts who polarises so many and Sylvia who dgaf? Don't tell me that Craig is selling a hope, a vision. Good grief.
  20. rpfc, we have differing views on this. Do you think Craig changed a game plan in one week? Is there a possibility for natural improvement? Not forgetting a more favourable draw? Anyway, enjoy your weekend. I hope North don't bash us around too much.
  21. I'm right thanks - best you stay on your side of the world.
  22. This is not true either. Fight games out? Seriously? Or do other teams take their foot off the throat? Passive, meek, lifeless. Everyone's been posturing ruthlessness since 2000 - the kitchen got too hot.
  23. Everybody can learn. Neeld was ousted before his plan came to fruition. Craig is not the man for me. Don't forget that players improved under Neeld too. But, of course, there will never be any credit given for that. Like I said, I'll go tomorrow, have a few beers and share a few laughs with some mates. Life's good.
  24. You missed the word 'completely.' Neeld had a vision. He built a magnificent backline, recruited the next Wayne Carey and brought Clark (problematic) and Dawes to the club. His next step was mids, mids, mids. The MFC is now the AFL's whipping boy - people are applauding a ruthless CEO, yet they were not comfortable in applauding a ruthless coach, that, in time, would have rebuilt the culture. I'm going to game tomorrow P_Man - I hope many more attend.
