It is interesting the difference between the League guys and the AFL guys where as yet no AFL or ex-players have started their own legal action as yet.

If he was so respected and had such a close relationship with Hird (don't Hirds kids and family use Reid as the family Doc?) then i would have expected more of an effort by him. Agree, the fact they did not run it past the club Doc, the players association, there manager, family or who ever they could have spoken to is laughable yet they are winning the PR battle. I just hope that it doesn't transfer to the ruling even if that hits the Dees players too.

And I would assume the club would wait for the RESULTS of any scans, then speak to a Doctor and or Physio BEFORE making a statement but maybe that is not how a good club operates.
