Melbourne Football Club Training - November, 2015

There was no fairness, I do know it wasn't the great man Sats was just adding some Mayo, good lord. -
Gorg I don't think many will be surprised when they give Kap the flick as well. If they keep him on books they are on the hook for $16m next year for him I think.

Schwaby posted too. -
Gorg.... Don't bother, has to be one of the worst first halves you will see. Spoiler alert..... The 49sight have re-signed Hayne during the first qtr, Bush injured again.

Agree, it does seem overrated. Shows very little about football nous, skill and ability.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Cards13 replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
Most of us want wins now and most don't think old Milky pants will add too much change to that. Again we have to wait and see. I don't think he is a massive talent but he is an improvement on the usual suspects. He is a bridge to the "golden generation" that will be playing in winning flags for us. -
Head of Responsibility. Haha

View a deal in its totality not just one part... You need Harvard for that? -
Huge amount of work has been done in the last 12 months to get the Wallabies to a WC final. Unfortunately we were up against the best team to ever play team sports. We took it up to them for periods but gave them too much of a start and ran out of gas. They have huge depth and better overall quality in the side. Going to be interesting to see if the ABs can replace some of there greats but also interesting to see how we replace the likes of Gits and Mitchell but also can't wait to see us progress as a team. I can see Cheik being like Hanson and pushing the Wallabies to be a great institution. I just hope the administrators can afford the cost of that.
-
hahhaha that is ridiculous who gives two toss bags about how he looks. Can he play footy?
-
How much you got on it HT? Can't see us coming close. In fact I can if Pocock (and Faday) has twice the game he had last week and that was the best game I've seen him play. They are carrying McCaw to the end here but they are the best defensive unit ever to play the game and have way to much pace for us let alone that ridiculous pack. It would be our best win ever if we can get up. Come on Wallabies!!!!

God imagine digging up that thread again. Can't recall if I was furious we missed him or not

Again where is Worksafe in this? Are they waiting for the WADA appeal or have they just quietly stopped investigating Ess? Or has the review gone on longer than the ASADA case?
-
Louie I clearly remember both AD and someone else from the AFL coming out before the Dons saga started being highly concerned about the input of 'sports scientists' and there decision stumping club doctors. It was raised at an AFL medico's forum if I also recall. They don't appear to have acted until after the horse has bolted with a sly phone call to Ess just prior to the blackest day in sport.

Who tipped his WA house purchase? -
Don't hold the AFL to some higher standard here. At the end of the day the AFL is in the business of making money, rogue club or no. They may have screwed the pooch on this well before dropping notes in class to Essendon.

Haven't read it but just seems like they have been terribly advised from day 1. They have taken little ownership of this themselves.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOEL SMITH

I'm sure it was Shaun Smith sitting in a hole in front of the fat thug and getting smashed. Knocked out. -
Good first half, Bokkies ran out of gas and never ever looked like scoring a try. Defended well but need to touch at least 1 down against the guys in black. If we get over the line tomorrow just cannot see us getting close to them. It will be the greatest win in the Wallabies history, the ABs are just so good, have so many weapons, defend so well and have such a deep deep bench.
-
Ya if we are going to get through to a final let alone get within a bulls roar of the ABs (even though it is the SAFOs they are playing it would be a massive boil over if they lost) in the final we need Pocock and Issy fit and firing. Can't wait to watch both games, lucky I have a new born so I am getting used to late nights with little sleep.

Didn't Shaun get smashed by that thug Lockett (when he was at the Swans) as he stood under a high ball coming into the backline? Massively courageous player, loved watching him at the Dees. -
Worst prank ever!!
