  1. Lewis is still in play, Pickering on SEN said discussion is ongoing with both clubs. He also said he will do what Lewis wants. Ie if he wants to stay at Hawks he will, if he wants the Dees (and can agree on a contract, Hitchy saying we should give him 3 years) he could end up there. He was trying very hard to give nothing but said enough. It may not happen at the end but interesting times indeed.
  2. Considering one is already occurring.
  3. A player renegotiates a new contract with his new club. He doesn't come with the contract he signed with the previous club, the 2 parties negotiate a new deal but they can tie in the previous club for a portion of it as we have seen.
  4. Oh my god!! It's Friday and nothing has happened!!! Josh where are you, why are you so fixated on just the Hibberd deal? Why are you so passive??? I feel let down. Why are you not tweaking my bits when I need it?! Not serious, just getting it in before old mate O does 3 times today.
  5. A few people, you in particular if I recall, got into Mahons last year only for him to come out looking pretty sharp at his job by the end of it. You're comments here suggest the sharpness of a pancake.
  6. He's too busy fretting over your opinion of him to focus on trading anything. You're a Henny Penny.
  7. During the running of the Melbounre cup, Xmas day or 2am New Years morning? When they AFL announce the new winners.
  8. SEN the other morning, Paul Connors noted clubs of players traded in are not obligated to take on the players contract. I did not realise this, I assumed the contract was in place and if traded it was still honoured, even if a portion by the old club. The statement was is reference to Cloke at the Doggies. Cloke said he'd negotiatie a new deal with the Dogs.
  9. They must be drowning there sorrows... No more Ess $$$$$$$$$$$$ for the boat maintenance.
  10. they said Mitchell coming to Melbourne... to play with the Hawks...
  11. Zanotti files?
  12. Well he'd tip out Bernie, who we all love but laboured terribly by end of season. Bern off a flank (fwd or back) looks good too.
  13. "Oh noes that's to scary for us little Demons. " Pppffttt bring it on!
  14. 1 high rise dev.. more likely they will put 6 - 8 on that space, and they will do it at some point.
  15. All The Way. Hot about half way through this HBO film about LBJ taking over the presidency after JFK was gunned down. Really interesting view and Bryan Cranston is such a compelling actor.
  16. BBO, Peter Gordon was on radio this am spruiking the Ballarat relationship and how amazing it going to be with the Dogs playing a home game in Ballarat next year, he was really excited about the Doggies getting to Ballarat to show the faithful the cup.. Nice job by the players to get behind it.
  17. We don't have to agree FD. Can't wait for it, we'll give it a shake.
  18. FD mate every game is dangerous... Do you think the Doggies would have the same attitude? Bring it on!!!
  19. When we belt them we will make cash from members signing up, new sponsors looking at us. Odd attitude FD.
  20. We should be fighting tooth and nails to get the fixture. We don't get Friday nights games because we've been an irrelevant club. We're going to have 2 ex players and 2 ex bumbers coaches. The w2nkas "we're back" game with a huge number of fans... Will be an awesome test for the new Goody team. Will we win?? Who knows but we have to be tested.
  21. After we went through something similar agree totally. Have to feel for the fans if he plays out the 2 years and looks to head home because he is home sick and ends up somewhere like fing Cwood or Hawks.
  22. Really good news, signed up for the best years of his career. Go Dee's!
  23. Gah f.... No desire at all. He just seems not interested in being a professional footballer. To add some detail, it would depend on the cost as others have noted he is an absolute match winner when on, just doesn't seem like he can stay focussed.
  24. Loved reading his books as a kid and obviously the classic 12th man stuff. He always seemed like a really relaxed down to earth man who didn't take life to seriously. Melanoma again... Very sad.
  25. At least you know the toilet seat will be up.
