I can't believe this hasn't been discussed here. This decision to give Zeibell 4 weeks is a turning point in our game. Its pretty much saying that anything hard, tough or courageous is now illegal in our game. I can't believe he was even brought up on charges, two players going for a football, one arrives slightly late and connects with the other, but he was going for the footy the whole time. What have they done to this once proud game?? All this shizen has occurred because of the so called 'what will the mums say group' who are these mums?? where r they??...just because 2-3 idiots call up a radio station and say i won't let me son play this sport because he could get hurt, all of a sudden we have to change our whole game. I can understand and agree with being against the king hits and the sliding into heads rules, but if Jack Zeibell gets 4 weeks for what he did, then the game in my opinion has lost its most positive characteristic the thing that made it stand out amongst other sports. PHYSICALITY.

Lets trade Frawley I reckon.....he is worth something now and won't be in our next premiership side of 3033 so why not get some value for him...he would be worth 2-3 picks in the first and 2nd rounds....more 17/18yo's the better i say.....

i love this 'they won't be part of our premiership so lets trade them theory'....mate we aren't even bloody guaranteed making finals anytime soon and you are thinking about premierships... Haven't people on here learnt, kids alone will get you nowhere...we gave up so many of the very few senior players we already had and look at us now. miss it big time.....it will always have a place in my heart....even though for the last few years i hadn't posted as often as i used too.... i can't forget it.....it gave me a job at the Hun for a year.... :D even though it was the worst year for me to have the job.....got married that year and missed 2 months of the season...hahahahaha... but it was a great group.....maybe we can have a 1 year reunion next year....at the QB clash :D

just started a post suggesting the same thing....

After seeing todays article in The Age, it further re-enforces my belief about the lazy journalists we have at the moment. Journalists who do no research, who don't know anything about players they comment on, who make up stories just to jump on a bandwagon. So i have a suggestion, not now......but sometime in the future, lets plant a story and see if one of those fools gets sucked in and writes something in one of the papers.

If tim can't keep up with it due to illness, why won't he give it up...we can promise to name the Footy Forum in his name as an honor. :D

The funny thing is..if you block a player in a contest when the ball isn't within 5 meters its a free kick. But if you block someone when the ball is 100m away and you are a Filth player, who then headbutts his opponent its pay on and also not reportable.

Absolutely disgusting. how dare he attempt a spoil on a player and inadvertently crash into his back. makes me wish we were the fuchsia's again, because obviously the Demons moniker is making him way too aggressive.
