  1. Please fellow Dees read between the lines. The change in role is an excuse for the media and to not completely kill our trade hand. We want him gone. He has wanted to go for 2 years. Can't say what escalated things prior to the meeting but you can use your imagination. Sad ending for a great but needs to and will happen.
  2. He more than stormed out. Someone in the room copped a spray for the ages apparently
  3. If I was him I would have acted differently in many ways over the past few years. And if I was making decisions at the club I would have handled Team Trac a lot differently also. Obvious answer is he wants to win but I don't know his motive. As I said it might have been a relatively innocent comment albeit very misguided and usual hence our reaction.
  4. Strategy wise I would think the opposite. Trading Clarry for a pick in the 30's and paying a significant portion of his contract only shows our weakness. I'd be doing this one last minute unless we can get pick 12 from them. Have to be able to get him on the phone first anyway. Was funny what he did to Leppistch. I will always love him. Unfortunately there will be bad blood for a while but it will be glorious when he returns to a future Demon's function. I guarantee he cries, we all cry and he is honoured as one of our greatest ever players.
  5. Whilst it may be amicable with King it's superficial. There needs to be some fear with Trac and GC we will hold him to his contract. Agree not it Oliver mould. Sadly as he is my favourite player and a top bloke although misguided.
  6. I would say irritated/angry far more than sheepish
  7. Don't need too. But it happened. Listening to Lamb on trade radio now. How's his demeanor????
  8. It's not about Trac trying to screw us in a trade. It might have been as innocent as GC asking Trac this thoughts on what would get the trade done (I don't know the whole story). What I do know is we are rightly [censored] about this and Team Petracca's actions in the past. King's initial comments on Trac mean nothing. Saying anything would have only further diluted his trade value. I highly doubt they even met face to face. Clubs can't come out and tell the truth about players actions including leaks.
  9. He's not blowing up any trade. Don't have to be Nostradamus to know Trac and Clarry are 100% gone this trade period. What we don't know is how bad GC want him and who blinks first between Lamb and Cameron
  10. As I said. The part about Trac I have very good mail. The rest is what I see playing it out logically when GC is correctly (given the cards been dealt) playing hard ball
  11. Bookmark this post. It got back to us that Trac said to GC we would fold like a cheap suit in requesting Humprey as part of a trade for him. Obviously we are irate he would get involved in the trade like this. What I don't know is what will play out from here. My guess is GC keep low balling us and we confront Trac about this (if we haven't already done so) and privately say we are keeping him to his contract. Then Lamb comes publicly out over weekend or early next week saying Trac will be kept to this contract (as an acceptable trade doesn't look like it can de done) to try and put pressure on the other parties to poney up a better deal. What also supports GC low balling us is another player (Jake Rogers) we are interested in Cameron said today is not up for trade today in an interview.
