  1. I read it this way also. If this is the case we should trade 7 or 8 for WCE 13 and future 2nd. WC will take Duursma and CDT. They will want a midfielder and Sharp will be there. We get Nairn at 13 and gain a good 2nd round pick.
  2. Wonder if we are still liable for Clarry's contract if he retires early or gets traded again? Sydney does not suit Clarry and can't see him lasting more than 1-2 years max
  3. Don't shoot the messenger. Just got an update but this info was from yesterday. We are still pushing hard for Humphrey. Expect any deal for picks if we don't get Humphrey (STILL HIGHLY UNLIKELY) to be done in dying minutes of trade period for this reason. As I said yesterday. GWS is low on cash given they couldn't get Leek Alir off their books. Trade is going to be awful on our end unless we can squeeze higher pick given amount of his contract we are paying for.
  4. They were
  5. What is likely happening is they have the money for a contract with us paying $700k/year but are also offering peanuts in a return with the pick. We are likely saying pay more of contract if you want to offer very little by way of a pick
  6. No indication they will pul out of the trade. Probably just the reason why the trade hasn't happened yet and pick/contract are tied together.
  7. Got a small update on Clarry today..... Was told that GWS is struggling to come up with the cash for Clarry's contract within their salary cap. This is all I was told. We can all make assumptions for what his means for the trade negotiations.
  8. Not shocked we are on different ends of the political spectrum. Lets leave our discussion there and keep in common our hope for successful 2026 season
  9. I am not a trolI. I contribute financially to the club in the 10's of thousands a year personally. The demonland moderator could easily work out one of my connections to the club via my verified email and name with just a little digging. I rest assured he wouldn't dox me if he does. I decided to contribute recently to the forum some of the mail I regularly get. Given the sarcasm I'll think about whether I do in the future.
  10. Just got told we met with Oliver Florent today. I think we would be a good pick up. Good kick.
  11. Thankfully Hawthorn has focused in on Merrett. I close mate in the known at Hawthorn said they had offered Melb pick 8 & Jiath for Trac a while back. Trac would have definitely preferred Hawthorn over GC
  12. I don't know the answer to that one either. My guess it GC is being resolute in their stance they won't trade him. He would have to come out by tomorrow requesting a trade. Again if we don't hear from Lamb/Melb tonight the trade is on the rocks and that we are happy to keep Trac I don't see it happening. Have to be the first domino IMO
  13. Definitely not trolling. @ lmao I can assure you I am not trolling and am a big supporter of the club emotionally (to my detriment) and financially. I have a source and hoping it is 100% accurate
